No it absolutely does not. Just something a couple of moderators decided we should do while one was looking for a wallpaper for their computer.

And this isnt the first time to have a Wallpaper contest

This is solely for members to show off their creativity.

i doubt its anything to do with a rehaul of graphics. I think the graphics on ATS are really cool just as they are. I just think Mr Anonymous could do with some auto-q reading lessons, as he always falls over his words. cants take the guy serious. Cant we have trevor McDonnald from ITN ? hes out of a job now i think !!! hahaha .. ...And Finally tonight on ATS...this ladies dog got stuck in a drain pipe.

There has to be more creative people out there who want to show off their skills!!

It seems the "entries only" thread is getting full of non entries. Folks offering praise and comments that don't contain images or links to them. I'm as guilty as anyone else but would it be an idea to edit the thread so it only shows the submissions and point folks to THIS thread to comment?

Just an idea.

I am creating so much that my head is turning to mush as I am learning Gimp at the same time.

Right now, I am trying to create a mutter monolith..LOL

but there's still 3 weeks or so, so am not panicking....yet

I do want to add to the entries with my own version(s) of an ATS logo.

I just need to finish what is already my "day job" and hopefully "then" get to photoshop something up.

If I miss the deadline, I do hope there are more contests like this on the soon-to-be horizon.
