celioski People actually believes that here in Venezuela we had a terrible quake. It was just a tremor, no big damages reported. Help Haiti less than 20 seconds ago from web

From someone in Venezuela

[edit]

A few people have messaged me from Venezuela directly and reported everyone is fine. It was not a large quake and no reports of damage. People are fine.

If you want to follow what is going on then download Equake for Firefox as well as Google earth - add content = Real time earthquakes.

I have been following this for a few days and it seems the bigger quakes have been moving along the western boundary of the North American plate and from there down south to Japan.

From Tahiti to Mexico to Cali to Alaska and from there down to Japan .

And now the Venezuela one on the opposite side of the Caribbean plate.

I don't know if this is normal but there seems to be a lot of activity along the boundaries.

Also for the conspiracy theorist , I found that after looking at a 3.3 quake in Alaska yesterday - it was 30 km away from an Haarp installation. Found that purely by accident.

If you check out the google earth earthquake map for the last week , the most active areas apart from Haiti are along side California
and Alaska , most of the activity is there - within a 1000 km radius of the Haarp installation.

I dont mean to be disrespectful . this is a human crisis - the whole Haarp thing just caught my eye....honest.

Wrote a whole lot more about the fact that Iceland (where i live ) is pretty much split in half by the North American plate and the Eurasian.....It got lost.

Wednesday morning (3:20am EST) there was a smaller quake in the exact same area but it was not registered on IRIS Seismic Monitor. This quake woke me up. Most people here in Aruba have described it as an approaching dump truck.

Now today's 5.6 quake surprised me. I was watching a movie at the time it was registered and I didn't feel a thing. There haven't been any reports of people experiencing the quake. But I have to say that I am getting worried about the Caribbean plate, as seismic activity has been extremely active this week.

Is it me or does it seem like there's an awful lot of seismic activity going on in the last 15 days? Is this normal amounts of activity, I installed the quake add on to FF just before the haiti quake, and it seems like it's going nuts lately.

Anyone else concerned?

I'm slightly concerned , don"t have the experience to tell if its abnormal but there's a lot of activity. I encourage you guys to add the Earthquake app in Google earth , very good overview of whats going on .

Again , I'm sitting 20 km away from where the N-American and Eurasian plates meet, in Reykjavik Iceland.

I would not be surprised if we had a quake here , had one a couple of years ago 6.1...VERY scary and apparently the Richter scale is logarithmic so the Haiti quake is about 30 time more powerful , and we had roads split open.

Is it just me or does it seem like this past 14 days has been very active seismic activity. I have been doing research since 1998 in various subjects, and the first thing it crossed my mind is, HAARP, point it at Venezuela, then, crap we missed it, but hit Haiti. Then Try again, this time got it, but not strong enough. Does it make sense?

Yes, you are right! This is the dis-info spread around that keeps from seeing the natural patterns and blaming MAN on what the MOTHER is doing. Keep thinking it's HAARP and maybe you are going to overlook what is really going on.
And to the other fella... some say no big deal about the quakes, Phage being one of them. And he is correct that it is actually less than last year this time. However, if you research the archives, the number of 5.0 and greater quakes has increased exponentially in the last 10 years.
