Same idea as my previous Illuminati post. It came down to an actual understanding of the word as more of a nickname for any number of groups with an agenda rather than an actual group called the Illuminati. (Modern at least)

This time... i know there is plenty of reason to believe in this one, but i'd like to hear why you guys believe there is a NEW WORLD ORDER rising in our world today...

Mod Edit: Removed all caps title.

Well, the reason anyone believes anything is because someone told them, and they assembled it themselves. my take on it, history speaks for itself. takes a lot of history to get the big picture, boils down to one simple word. ego.

The New World Order generally revolves around a shadow government of corporate and financial entities who are actually running the show and steering us toward one-world government, one-world economy, one-world religion (or atheism), and global slavery.

Now, why do I think this is a legitimate conspiracy? Easy — because several of our U.S. presidents, dating back to Thomas Jefferson and including Abe Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and FDR himself all expressed concern about a shadow government of corporate and financial entities overthrowing the U.S. government.

They spoke about this sinister shadow government in no uncertain terms — They considered it a VERY REAL threat.

You are reading too much into it.

Another trademark, the flowing black navy cape, had a practical justification: Aides found it extremely awkward to help the crippled President in and out of overcoats, and the cape greatly simplified matters.

Wow some great information guys... anything else anyone would like to add? if we could get some youtube clips embedded of more politicians painting this picture for us, that'd be awesome...

also, the FDR memorial... I never ever knew that... and that was a great piece of information.

Gordon Brown's speech also made it quite clear that there is definitely an agenda.

Well, aside from George Bush senior making comments in American parliament regarding the exact phrase..

Look at the European union.. Majority of European Countries falling under the guidance of one man every few years...

The North American Union (it exists and the Amero is on the stock exchange .. aparently)

Then will come the Asia Pac Union...

Then will come the one world union... implementation of a new Religious ideology and destruction of freedom of speech or freedom of action that the govt won't know about.

Kinda scary imo. Scarier is that it seems to be happening.

You need to research this on your own, I can only give pointers, but Thomas Jefferson was the first one to warn about corporations and financial entities overthrowing the fledgling United States in his time.

Abraham Lincoln saw the threat increased following the Civil War, as corporations handled the Reconstruction of the South — Abe was really worried about these corporations and lenders and so forth preying on the weaknesses of a war-torn nation.

Teddy Roosevelt, president at the birth of the 20th Century, was the first to call it a "shadow government" of corporate and financial entities entirely capable of enthroning themselves above the elected government.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt wrote and spoke about the corporate and financial entities who controlled every aspect of government, and he wrote about it in the past tense, as though they had already overthrown the elected government in the early 20th Century.

Perhaps not coincidentally, FDR's lengthy administration sort of heralds the emergence of the New World Order into broad daylight. FDR's administration not only launched an unprecedented socialist initiative to provide Welfare and Social Security as "safety nets" (that we couldn't afford in the long-term), but he also hammered into existence the United Nations with a thinly-veiled objective of eliminating borders and creating a Global Union.

!!!

It's no secret that presidents since that time have referred to a "New World Order" on more than one occasion, and they always speak of it as though it's a work-in-progress. The crucial thing to realize is that, since FDR's time, the presidents are not WARNING US about the New World Order, they all simply embrace it as inevitable.

There has been a definite evolution of the New World Order over the last two centuries, and today we're seeing the last tattered bits of the facade falling away, revealing a Corporate Government... A government that bails out corporations and banks and then administers those corporations and banks.

Well... Truth known, our "sovereignty" is the only remaining facade, held in place to appease and comfort the masses, providing an illusion of security, providing the illusion of choice, providing the illusion of Liberty.

The "New World Order" has happened right before our eyes. It's no conspiracy. We're the proverbial frogs who have been gradually boiled to death without realizing it.

Froggie Stew! Yummy!
