As a mailman, do you feel the need to defend the incompetence of our 'government'?

After careful consideration ( since I know anti-Semite is going to brought up ) I thought i would like to forward that its the Evangelist Christians strangle hold on American policy that see's this kind of support for Israel.

Its simple, they believe Israel and its sons are gods chosen ones and through biblical prophecy will bring about the return of a Messianic figure who will lift them into heaven ( see "The Doomsday Code" to understand it fully ).

Now the Jewish few who use this belief of the Evang's to get this cash off the USA and use it to foster hatred of anything Arab and disguise it as something else like Oil grabs ( read this to understand it more theuglytruth.wordpress.com... ).

No matter how you look at it, Israel through proxy controls and directs the USA through media, lobby groups, ADL, AIPAC and financial institutions to fight its wars for her.

USA...your screwed.

To be fair, many Israelis are dual American citizens.

We don't have enough qualified single citizenship Americans to run our country, so Israel is doing us a huge favor.

How many Haitian dual citizens have high positions of power and authority, making important decisions about the future of America?

Ugh why does america pay for Israels sins? They're just gonna use that money to build more bombs. Silly Americans.

Its so easy and cheap to take 2 different things and compare them as if they were actually comparable. I have seen this sham comparison used a lot lately. Almost as often I have seen anti-semitic posts here.

I have no hate, I am just disgusted at this great country being hijacked. We shouldn't be giving aid to any countries except during times of natural disasters such as what has recently happened in Haiti. The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah/Hamas should be none of Americas concern. We should help in trying to broker peace, but we should not choose any sides one way or another.

By the way, never confuse righteous anger and blind hate as being the same.

What happened during the holocaust did not happen to Israel. It happened to Jewish people and was one of the darkest periods in modern human history.

That does not mean that current Israelis deserve unqualified support with every action they take.

Except in Germany during the 30s the Jewish people hadn't corralled their neighbors into a massive ghetto and forced them into a starvation existence, and actively crushed any progress they made into forming a stable society.

There is a titanic difference between the current policies of Israel and the atrocities committed against the victims of the holocaust. All humans are susceptible to corruption and greed if given enough power, and with unyielding support from the US government and our tax dollars funding their operations, much of their government believes it can do no wrong, when in fact they are being the epitome of hypocrites.

In fact, your statement aptly applies to the Palestinians' current plight, don't you think? Unless of course you think rolling a tank in and punishing a family of Palestinians for drilling a well for clean water should be the norm?

We aid Israel because they are the only democracy in the Middle East, thereby deserving the support of the largest democracy on Earth. The aid largely goes to fund their purchases of our military weapons. Therefore, we aid ourselves.

Haiti, however, is not a purchaser of our military weapons. The aid to Haiti, $100 m, is in the form of sending aid; i.e., $100m in transports, foodstuffs, etc. We don't send them a check. A dollar goes a lot further in Haiti than it does in Israel, also.

Keep the money? Isolationism, the primary cause for WWI and WWII. Do you want that again?

Haiti is erelevant on the world stage, their lucky to be getting what their getting. It's not right, but thats how things work, even in your personal lifes you know by now, its all in who you know, how much money you make, and your level of education, if you have none of these things than you live as they do in haiti and you feel the pain daily. Israel is very important in the fact that they are in the middle east, they are a super power, and they are a strategic launching pad for anywhere we need to be in the middle east (IRAN) That 30 billion to Israel is just another down payment on a future war.

What about the nations of Kuwait, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Bahrain, Algeria, Qatar, Lebanon, and Yemen? Those are pretty much democratic nations, but we give Israel more aid than all those nations combined. It has nothing to do with 'democracy'. It has everything to do with Zionism, As Zionists are in OUR GOVERNMENT, and there are many lobbyist groups who push pro-Zionist agendas and policies onto our congress. And just because Israel will buy our military equipment with the TAX PAYERS MONEY that is being GIVEN to THEM, does not mean it is 'helping us'... And Israel seems to want everything we have as they have a problem with spying on our country and trying to get their little hands on everything we have in the works. Isolationism was not the cause of WW1, or was it the cause of WW2. I don't think we will have a world war 3 if we stop throwing tax payers money to Israel. But nice try on bringing up the past, in the future do not try to deflect the issue at hand toward irrelevant notions you may have. If you want to support Israel with your money, you go right ahead. Personal donations should be the way to go, as it is not democratic to have a government throw away public funds that can be spent on America to other nations.
