Apocalypse in Haiti: Havana Predicted Massive Earthquake in Port-au-Prince in 2008

english.pravda.ru

Patrick Charles, former Professor of the University of Havana, predicted in 2008 that there would be a massive earthquake in Port-au-Prince in the near future. Today, there was a Force 7.0 Richter, with an epicentre 14 miles from the capital city of Haiti. There are reports of massive damage, including a collapsed hospital.

This is no Hoax! I did a google search and immediately found a related link dated 2008:

He should be honoured and his theories should be examined, maybe we can prevent such disasters like the Earthquake in Haiti.

If the earthquake was caused by HAARP, this guy knows more!

Cuba is really good at dire predictions.

Castro has long predicted that capitalism would fail and send the entire planet into an economic global meltdown!

Obviously that’s just crazy talk and a man full of sour grapes!

The only thing this proves is that scientific study is a waste of time and money because people don't listen to it. They should have bulldozed the whole deathtrap into the ocean but instead kept the non reinforced concrete structures and shantys. This is like a photocopy of SanFrancisco. After the big quake a century ago the building codes only lasted six months till they tossed em out the door and made another death trap with non reinforced concrete again. We'll be seeing this same thing over again there too.

The HAARP comment is not worth commenting on other than lol I suppose it is an angle for the simple minded to take up.

I didn't see any mention of HAARP in the articles. Haiti's earthquake would appear to be a completely natural one related to an existing fault line where there have been earthquakes in the past.

Its going to be a huge task to try and provide assistance there with so many people affected and such poor infrastructure. My heart goes out to them.

I can tell you this I live in Miami and have been hearing rumblings from the earth for 5 days now. Two or three times a day for about 15 seconds at a time.

It's been freakishly cold, record breaking cold!

They are playing with HARRP. No if's ands or buts about it in my book!

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and full of 'worthless eaters' if they were going to use HARRP to depopulate the plaent of 'worthless eaters' where do you think they would start?

There's loads of quakes in that region.... not exactly hard to predict that there would be one of this scale hitting Haiti....

By the way just in case anyone thinks I might be making these rumblings up after the fact please note this..

This is going to sound really bizarre but there was a series of low rumblings here in Miami, Florida.

Definitely not Jet Aircraft and definitely not a surface explosion, but a series of about 15 second audible rumbles spaced by about 30 seconds, and about 10 of them all in all.

What ever it was, it was something.

When I went out shortly afterwards to go to the store riding my bicycle I noticed that the pavement on the road I normally take had some long hairline cracks in it, some as long as 15 feet, they weren’t there yesterday and I do believe they looked fresh and might have been related to the rumbling noise I heard.

It’s most strange.

I lived in California for over a decade and have been through a number of Earthquakes up to 7.0 on the Richter scale, it definitely didn’t feel like an Earthquake but it looks to me like something significant was taking place under ground all the same.

That was a post I made on the 9th of January 4 days ago regarding the 6.5 Earthquake off the coast of California.

Keep in mind that Miami Beach where I live is a man made barrier island to protect the Florida mainland from hurricanes.

In otherwords it rests on top of the earth and not on the earth.

Further I heard rumblings yesterday again here in Miami about a half an hour before the earthquake in Haiti struck.

I really do suspect HARRP is involved. The fact that the earthquake was very shallow in the earth too is suspicious in my humble opinion.

I have lived in Miami for 14 years and never heard rumblings of that nature before either.

I wouldn't doubt that the rumblings you heard were somehow related to the coming quake in Haiti. It would be interesting to hear from you in the next couple of days whether or not the rumblings continue. My suspicion is that the quake will have released a lot of energy and things should settle down; including the rumbling in your area.

One reporter suggested that it can take weeks and even months before all the aftershocks subside following a huge quake so we'll see.

I don't trust HAARP, but I don't personally believe the powers give a damn about Haiti or Haitians and wouldn't waste the energy on them.

Here is the thing that is going to happen now.

Billions of dollars of money will flow into the corrupt United Nations for disaster relief.

Haiti has over 12,000 U.N. Peacekeeping forces stationed in it since the political turmoil that ousted the Duvalier dictatorships of Papa and Baby Doc and the machinations of President Aristides turned the country into a machete wielding mob.

Look at what happened within the U.N. with the Iraqi Oil for Medicine and Food operation.

Haiti has the most substandard buildings in the Western Hemisphere, 60% of them were not safe structures in normal times.

A strike on Haiti would guarantee high casualties an out pouring of Aide from around the world, and the kind of devastation that would take years to repair and hundreds of billions of dollars to administer in that process.

Follow the money and believe me there is motive, and profit and throw in HARRP and you have opportunity as well.

Edit to Add: Caltech did not detect these rumblings? My ears could but not the U.S. Earthquake Center that monitors the world? Think about that!

What if I would say that HAARP could have prevented the mass destruction of this earthquake? HAARP can produce resonance which can cause earthquakes. But if you "reverse" that frequency and you would tune in with a real earthquake, you could stop the vibrations. They can do it with sound too:

What other godly attributes are you going to associate with an antenae near the north pole that is only used for submarine communication?

Can HAARP predict the lottery too? It would have to in order to identify the precise moment and spot an earthquake would strike in order to counter it as you claim. This claim is twice as preposterous as saying it could cause an earthquake at a precise spot and time.

They should point it over here so it can paint my house.

That bastard has insight. Castro, that is.

He also knew he would rule for what seems to be forever!!!! As far as who predicted this, that was a good call.

Very impressive. I hope someday to go back to my Habana and i know its just a pipedream.

I honestly think Castro is just hanging on to see the collapse he predicted to vindicate himself.

He's a despot with a twisted sense of humor!

Hopefully one day they will open Cuba back up, and hopefully not with a HARRP Earthquake that kills half the island.

Hmmm, predicting a devastating earthquake to occur in a EQ prone territory, which was way over due...prediction or playing the percentages? Now, if it had been "predicted" that a devastating EQ would occur on 10 JAN 2010, then we could talk prediction.

All Socialists/ Communists have been claiming this, and other enemies of the west...

Since the elite are mainly Socialists disguising as "progressives" and other names they prefer to have a Socialist dictatorship they will make this happen, which is why we are in this economic crisis.

Castro is a bastard, alongside the rest of his ilk... BTW this is an article from Pradva....this website is known to post BS and false claims most of the time, although sometimes they print stories which they "borrowed" from other websites...

I haven't read the article friend. I am well aware though of HARRP and able to draw my own conclusions when suspicious things occur.

CNN and Pravda are all the same too me.

I am no fan of any government really, none of them have ever delivered on a genuine way to do away with things like crime, poverty, and under-education.

I will say this, and it's not a defense of Castro, but they have thrown everything in the book over the years to try to in turn kill him, get the people to revolt against him, get the state to collapse and generally who has suffered the most for that is Cuban people, and it is generally Cubans living here in Miami who shape what those policies will be. They are a soild and committed voting block and pretty good at getting the government to work for them when they want it too, and ignoring it when they have no use for it.

Based on that kind of enterprising spirit it would be interesting to see what Cuba would have developed into under Castro without all the sanctions and undeclared secret wars against the regime.

Just saying!

For crying out loud... Cuba went, and is still developing by the regime of castro... You think it would be different?... Look at what happens in places like Vietnam, Burma, etc...

EVERY freaking Socialist/Communist regime has turned into a Socialst dictatorship, no matter how many times people like you claim the "the fault is on the Americans"...

Let me ask you, exactly what do you know about Cuba, it's history, and the policies implemented by castro?...

The bastard from the beginning took the lands, and property of EVERYONE, and claimed it was for the good of the nation...which made EVERYONE equally poor...

The poor, and middle class of Cuba before castro were better off than after castro's regime got a hold of Cuba.

The U.S. has sanctions against Cuba, but the Cuban regime has business with other countries...yet none of that is helping the Cuban people...it just helps castro and his regime...

This is something that people like you don't seem to want to understand....

The regime became completely dictatorial from the beginning. Those who would speak against the regime were made example of by being executed in front of the entire family by assassins like Che Guevara.... Yeah the same Che Guevara that liberals, and other Socialsits/revolutionaries the world over see as a hero...

The bastard of Che liked to use his knowledge of medicine to torture people.... You should read some of his writtings to see what a blood thristy bastard he was... castro is and was the same as Che...

The island was completely destroyed since the beginning of the Communist regime, and it is all the fault of the COMMUNIST regime , castro, and his thugs....

Just saying...

Oh and btw...you do know that the regime of castro was making a secret war against the U.S. rigth?...and it has sent spies over the decades who have infiltrated the politics of the U.S., as well as universities and other types of infraestructure...

Just search online at how many Communist agents/spies have been found in the U.S. working as professors, or within the government.... and those are just some of the Communist spies which have infiltrated the U.S. for decades....

The Communist regime also tried different ways to kill American presidents, and they were probably the ones who killed JFK...

Did the Cubans assassinate Kennedy?

By Kate Connolly in Berlin
Published: 12:01AM GMT 04 Jan 2006

The Cuban secret service was behind the assassination of President John F Kennedy, according to evidence presented in a new television documentary.

Rendezvous with Death, to be shown on German television on Friday, offers the most convincing evidence that Fidel Castro's regime was behind the most talked-about murder of the 20th century.

BTW, any one of you remember the offices of Obama where some people had flags of Cuba with Che Guevara?.... Who do you think those people are?.... and they of course LOVE Obama and his Socialist regime...
