Good!! I don't think a brand like Google should be doing business in China. The companies moto is "Don't be evil", however censoring and filtering information is just that.

If a power house like Google decides China isn't a place it can conduct business, it would send a huge signal to the rest of the world and essentialy be a "slap in the face" to the communist party.

Yes Google should do the right thing too and not do business with China. People's lives and livelihoods are at serious risk.

Who knows how many people will end up missing, broken, or dead over this, it will never be known. It will be a state secret, much like the most secret secrets of our various governments, groups, and corporations.

If China is going to blatantly hack G-mail then Google should cease its filtering program with China and share the information, that the Chinese governemnt wants filtered from its people, with the rest of the world.

They should have just asked nicely first, like the NSA and CIA did.

Then they wouldn't have to worry about being caught.

Google will definitely pull out of china if that were to happen, or china would force them out.

Perhaps China is just trying to push the boundaries.
