So If I joined a barbaric testosterone driven death machine then i am one myself. idk who you think you are but you and your threads on these things are absurd. I have spent almost three years in the service now and i go to school, i work hard, i have a loving fiance who has stood by me through everything, i have friends that cry and love and and know fear the same as you do. there are assholes in the military but, in my experience the only two ive known to have ever tried to assault a women have been beaten to a pulp by their comrades. soldiers don't just run around raping women. Some try but believe me more people would hurt those men very badly than would actually commit the crime. don't speak of things you know nothing about.

And before i forget. More women have been raped in America twice than have been in the military. Men too. Don't try to tear down the military for something every single military has issues with, something that is an issue in every high school, college, workplace, bar, even in peoples own houses and backyards. the world is a sick place. not just the Military. It is a sick place, but its the same as everywhere else. another thing before i stop i don't know if you've forgotten but the human race is a barbaric testosterone driven death machine, that's why we are where we are today. we didn't get here to this country or technology level by throwing flowers for thousands of years.

I applaud you for the stats.

But do the stats tell the whole story?

How many rapes go unreported or ignored especially in countries that have weak law enforcement concerning rape, or rampant corruption, or war, or where women are seen as objects rather than humans?

IMO, rape is a serious issue in every country regardless of what the current stats illustrate.

Some posters saying not to label all soldiers as rapists because of the actions of a few are the same people that label all priests as child rapists because of the actions of a few
