PROOF that many people will say anything for attention.

If I see another thread with the word "PROOF" in the title that starts like this:

"In my opinion..." or "[insert wacky theory] is obviously true"

My head is gonna explode.

Unless you have actual proof, don't claim to have... well... actual proof.

Here's some great examples:

9/11 Conspiracy PROOF - contains no proof

Norway Spiral Proof - contains no PROOF.

In fact, there's no consensus amongst members what happened on 9/11 (or in Norway). So there's obviously no definitive PROOF of almost anything related to the 9/11 attacks (or the time-lapse spiral, or pyramids, etc., etc.)

Using the word PROOF when you have NO PROOF makes you look confused at best and a manipulative liar at worst.

Things there's no definitive proof of:

Aliens
Time travel
Zero Point Energy/Free Energy/Perpetual Motion
9/11 being an inside job
Alternate Realities

In you start a thread about any of those subjects (and/or many other unproven, but popular conspiracy subjects as well) and use the word PROOF be aware that I and my legion of debunkers will expect ACTUAL PROOF.

Please people, I know you're all excited about your theories, but chill out on the meaningless and self-destructive hyperbole.

Now, let's start the countdown to when the Mods delete this thread...

I'll give it 5 minutes... prove me wrong Mods.

Nevermind the fact that you just contradict your own argument by saying, "There is no PROOF for the following" when to many of us, there IS for some/many of those bulleted items you've listed.

So, what you're really saying is, 'If I see one more thread that tries to convey an idea that I'm not in total agreement with, my head is going to explode' - does it really matter if the word 'Proof' is in there? I think not.

Actually no, there is NO PROOF of any of those things... people have opinions, many based on their own paranoia, but there's no proof.

That's just the truth.

I'm in no way knocking your thread. I agree with what you say but,
I can't believe you needed proof to say that:

I've known that for quite some time, now.
Face it, there's no proof for alot of things that people have opinions on.

We are entitled to our own opinions.
At least, I think we are.

I here you on this.Most if not all those "Proof" posts are by people who DO NOT want to hear anything but agreement to their post.

They have gotten it in their head that their long winded post is the truth because they spent a long time doing "research".
