Lol! ah bro - it;s good to see at least you are one with some logic and sensibility. Keep it up cause it will keep the world a much saner and less
mystic world than what the OP wants us all to think.
I gotta say though, those spirals are nothing new - they have been depicted in carvings dating back to pre history... Aussie Aboriginies have drawn
them, the celts drew them.. the chinese drew them. So i agree with you wholey to the point that this is obviously what "believers" of this OP's
nonsense will try and tie into reality to make the OP's comments relevant. Again, well spotted!
the the others here: The mind sees what it wants to see (that goes both ways). Having said that they have been seen through the past 15K years...
Imagine what people back then would have said.. DOOMSDAY! GOD IS ANGRY! REPENT! THE END IS NIGH!.. bla bla bla
Did they get wiped out? No? well not by aliens, but the aborigines were systematically erradicated by white man coming and treating them the same way
the settlers treated the Native indians. with disdain.
They are nothing new.
However i started to read posts about meditating and "intellectuals" and the apparent "conflict" between the two ..
Im honestly amazed that some one would assume that others are clearly not on the level of a person who meditates if they ground their ideas in the
realm of tangible and intrinsic fact..
Meditation is the process by which the concious mind recedes and the subconcious mind comes to the forefront. This is exactly the same as a person
that experiences REM (Deep) sleep. Meditation does not cause people to be able to fly all over the universe or throw fire balls, it allows your
subconcious to take a dominant role in the way the brain is working at that time.
The subconcious mind dwells on things that that cincious mind has no time for due to the fact that cincious thought is about what will make the person
live and or perish should they make the wrong decision, or logic if you will (this one example of how concious mind is used). Subconcious thought
patterns are likened to a dream state - where, by all means, the imagination takes over and is affected buy the experiences/conversations that the
concious mind saw that day/weel/month/lifetime, but could not process at the time. Think of the subconcious as a second processor on a Dual Core
It handles sub routines to better enable the concious mind to get throgh it's daily tasks.
I have mediated and find it incredibly relaxing - i even felt like i was asleep and at peace, my mind wondered over things like my mariage and how to
make it better (obviously something i constantly think about) and even the feeling that i was experiences whilst being semi-asleep. When i stopped the
meditation i felt as if i had slept, for a short amount of time and was somewhat rejuvinated.
This is why 7 hours of sleep is necesary for a human to be able to function propperly. Normal sleep does not allow the concious mind to relax (as it
is constantly listening out for alerts to danger etc) so it takes a while for you to enter REM sleep. Once in REM sleep, your mind is recharging,
effectively allowing much easier and non stressing sub routines to be processed. i.e. subconcious thought expressed as dream.
I dare say that too many people here don;t get enough sleep and therefor live in a quasy realm of fantasy and fiction. Get some sleep - eat a high
pretein and nutrient rich diet, socialise and spend time with friends in the real world, not to mention your family. These things will enrich your
life more than this scientology stuff ever will.
Note: OP has not answered questions posed at him, where he challeneged basic and well understood concepts of physics and chemistry. Signs that it is
of fictional origin.
