""There is unequivical evidence provided""""
. . . . for theories.

Nothing is proven. Funny how there aren't any bake houses and all that other junk around the other pyramids in the world. The gigantic pyramid in China is being kept a secret. The chamber at the foot of the Sphinx is there. Why hasn't it been opened up? or has it? There is a city underneath that land. Many things are being kept a secret. Even the absolutely enormous blocks submerged under the sea near Japan. I doubt any of this evidence provided by your imaginary friend is coherent with the actual construction of the 3 main Giza pyramids because there is none. No evidence can be found but the pyramids themselves. The Gods had left the remaining Egyptians to their despise. These people camped there for hundreds of years and made it their own. They never could figure it out. Pyramids are far older than you can possibly imagine. Carbon dating is inconclusive because you cannot carbon date the stone itself but you can carbon date coral found deep beneath the ocean. These structures will be found someday to date back before civilization was thought to even begin because it didn't actually just begin it evolved from the oversight of the Gods. I will align their age to the massive gold mining operation recently found near South America that has been carbon dated to be over 200,000 years old. . . . the Immemorial Times . . . before man existed.

Don't waste to much time with Zazzafraz. When part of your documentation is a tourists advertisement stating it was the Egyptians and no one else, I guess thats good research. And your right to, as I have said and others have said too, we are seeing remains of an ancient world that may have been planet spanning. Try to do research around that area in Egypt without the Egyptian antiquities dept. standing watch and/or telling you where you can or can't go. Even if you try to do sonar imaging, they do it not your team. They don't want people do find out that they didn't build or even make these structures. They just happen to come across and live under the ruins. Puma Punku and Baalbek are nice one to see also. Also the Japanese blocks underwater is a big find. Scientists try to say that it was done that way because it's a certain stone or erosion is ridiculous. We wonder where is this evidence of and old civilization, it was SWAMPED either during a massive lifting of sea levels once the frozen water of the Ice age was released or a pole shift. Either way it created enough havoc to destroy that world and it's survivors have to rebuild a facsimile of their ancient world.

No it was a workers village occupied for a short time not a permanent settlement over a few centuries. Stop guessing and read or research. As I said I suggest Lehrer.

The mapping and remains was for a workers village, this is differenet to the usual living metrolopis throughout Egypt

The visiers houses (worker foremean) are also there.

It was occupied for the period of building for the pyramid, the motuary temple and the laying of the ancient boats for Khufu.

Try do some actual research, that would be a start.
Why would you waste your time discussing it with someone like myself who has a doctorate in the field...hmmm youre right, your all just wasting your time.....keep listening to someones dreams instead, now thats researched evidence indeed.

I link basic reading for people with little or no background or understanding in the field, Would you prefer I link you thesis by people who have taken the time to study for deacdes in this field? You'll find it boring I assure you, as it s not written by charlatans wanting to make a buck. Tour Egypt references peer reviewed work. Not fringe fancy.

g'day AusWade,

I live in Newcastle NSW about 60kms from this place, I've been there several times, The hyroglyphs are a hog-pog of different times and styles...according to the experts....the general concensus is that this is a modern day fake.....created by the university educated bloke who lived there, the remains of his house are still there, there are no pyramids there......plenty of aboriginal cravings though...very interesting.
If an expert in hyroglyphs said tomorrow said that these were legitimate I'd be the first to shout it out....I don't have a career to worry about.

Much respect to you Zazz on your doctorate, thats no mean feat! I've been studying Egypt for around 15 years now, maybe i should have a go at it too? But during that time alot more facts and questions have arisen.

Consider this, if you will:-

The megalomaniac incharge at the time the Egyptians moved into the area of the pyramids that had long been there before they arrived, wanted their majecticness related to him. Its an ego thing. He put all those people to work building temples around the area of the pyramids and even had the head of the lion statue changed to his face. In doing all this he made himself look very important.

Now consider the Stella. Probably no more believable than a modern tabloid newspaper. The Pyramids are still standing because they were built by a far more advanced race of enigineers which is why they havent suffered the same fate as the more poorly constructed temples. The head of the sphinx is blatently newer than the body, and coupled to the fact its totally out of proportion.

I do respect the fact you've learned so much about Egypt, but to believe the knowledge you've learnt from books that were given to you are the "be all and end all" about the mysteries of Egypt are a little ignorant.

Have a look and a read about all the new facts about ancient and very ancient Egypt. Maybe you can merge them with the facts you have learnt already and give us all a much bigger, more intelligently viewed picture then Egyptologists would like to have us believe?

As an engineer myself i'm far more inclined to lean towards the power plant theory. It has more ground than the tomb theory once you have read every single fact about it, and i really do mean EVERY SINGLE FACT.

Your posts have been interesting . I look forward to reading some more. Thank you.

What is your opinion, then, on the Bent pyramid, the collapsed pyramid at Meidum, the various step pyramids, and mastabas in the area?

I've heard a story about the bent pyramid that while they were building it they suddenly decided to change the direction of its angles because it was becoming hard work! lol

As for the collapsed pyramid, apparently it was the egyptians first attempt to copy those at Giza, learning by their mistake they moved onto the step pyramid.

Degrees, Masters, Doctorates,PhDs etc aren't about books that are 'given to you.' You presume students are force fed and have no judgement. The whole point of Higher Education is letting the student loose to exercise their critical thinking. By developing their critical thinking they become able to argue and debate popular ideas (dominant ideologies). Hell, it's encouraged in good universities to challenge your Professors and Lecturers.

Here's an example...for years we thought the Hebrew slaves built the Great Pyramid. Then we thought that ONLY slaves built all the pyramids. Then we thought that slaves and defeated armies built the pyramids. These ideas were based on interpretation of various texts and imagination. It changes all the time thanks to research and critical thinking. Now we suppose that the pyramid builders were a paid workforce. How do we know this?

We've excavated the worker's towns near Giza. Dug up cemeteries. Found huge piles of fish bones, granaries, livestock bones. Found the foundations of well-laid out buildings and communal centers. The bones we've analysed show signs of hard labor and very good diets. Dental analysis indicates a healthy diet of the major food groups. Cemetery bones don't show signs of physical abuse, broken bones, trauma to skull etc.

These ideas of how the Egyptians lived and what their society was like is based on the findings of hundreds of different and unconnected specialists. People from across centuries and countries. These findings are cross-referenced and form a consensus. This consensus is a solid form that is always subtly changing as new evidence is found.

All the experts would love to be made famous for ever for a great discovery. If someone found a control panel in a secret room, they'd plaster it across the world news and be famous. They wouldn't shuffle away and bury the findings.

I've heard a story about the bent pyramid that while they were building it they suddenly decided to change the direction of its angles because it was becoming hard work! lol

The reason they changed the angle of the bent pyramid had to more with the angle was to sharp, that and subsidence led to instability. The bedrock foundation was also of poor quality, which affected it's stability.

The step pyramids were built mostly at an angle of 72 to 78 degrees, this is to steep for a true pyramid. They added on a cover, changing the slope to 55 degrees. This was still to sharp, and the rest of the pyramid was built at a different angle, about 43 degrees, which is the same as the Red Pyramid to the North.

As for the collapsed pyramid, apparently it was the egyptians first attempt to copy those at Giza, learning by their mistake they moved onto the step pyramid.

The pyramid at Meidum actually came after the step Pyramid of Djoser. It started out life as a stepped pyramid, and was continuously worked on, then abandoned. Sometime after it was abandoned, it was built on again to turn it into a "true" pyramid.

i dont know if your theory seems theoretically possible but i agree with you on the point that they are not burial grounds for ancient kings/emperors but we need solid proof so more people can realize the truth

thanks "tri-lobe-1" for your reply...i was a little skeptical of the images because there was no "real" plausible evidence (no pyramids, and the tablets looked fake too) but hoped someone like yourself could explain a bit more in detail.

Cheers

PS...i am still watching this thread although its no on the homepage anymores i think this is one of the most thought provoking topics i have seen on here for a while.

I was just trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together in way that would give a good argument for my conclusions. I wasn't trying to dumb it down, but just make sure all the dots were connected. What you might take for granted as common knowledge, might be new information to somebody else.

And of course it's only a theory. Everything is only a theory. There's no such thing as a fact. We all have opinions, even if "proof" dictates otherwise, we are still allowed to think freely. In my opinion this was the true purpose the pyramids, I'm the first person to think of this theory or to talk about it. I certainly haven't heard of it, because most people think it's not even possible.

Honestly, for some things, I could have used more videos, but I think my computer would have run out of RAM and crashed. It baffles me how much of what I learned in high school, I can no longer remember - like what a covalent bond is. I tried to comprehend what Stanley was explaining, and it was like watching a foreign film without subtitles with no pictures, only dialog.

What happened to my brain over these years is beyond me, but this infrasound information is useful to me to explain why I might I hear the hum and experience vibrations in my body at times that make life miserable.

At least some of my mind is still intact, I guess.

YEAH , I want more videos, I don't want to read 6000 more books about Egypt and all like that. I want to be spoon feed on how all them experts think it was. If they was there, then it musta happend like dat. yea and ifin

Dr. zazzafrazz... what is your translation of my last line?

Just so that you know... there is a super mod here
at ATS
that CAN translate it.
She IS a Phd.
she knows of what she speaks.
No doubt, you know her. I would much rather debate you than her! No doubt, she would win!

No quarter takes she , no not halfs nor thirds, but if called she may show ...if you call her ....?

Is it too late to edit? C'mon. Adding a 'stoopid voice' and mocking other people usually means you've failed. Sure, it's known as a smackdown in school, but once we've left school it's a bit embarrassing. If everyone on ATS used that debating/ discussion style, the site ranking would be somewhere below Kenter Canyon Elementary School' website.

'Yeah but your mom smells of pee!' and that's the case closed on corruption in the CIA. Next thread pulease!!'

Very interesting thread thank you! I do believe there is more to the pyramids than most people think. I recently made a post on sacred shapes such as the pyramids and how they affect energy fields:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

I think the pyramids might have also generated a lot of electrostatic energy from the potential between the air and the ground. Considering that they are so large and they used to have smooth sides, which would make them very good electrostatic conductors. I thought I had heard the capstone was of solid gold, but that is almost in the realm of myth. There is also reports that an ionic beam can be photographed that extends out of the top of the pyramid some few hundred feet. I still need to research this to see how true it is though.

Here are the names of some inventors that have experimented with this:
Les Brown (www.youtube.com...)
Peter Grandics (www.rexresearch.com...)
Thomas Trawoeger (www.rexresearch.com...)

I'm assuming you mean Byrd? She's more than capable of speaking for herself, but is also busy on another forum that would take a very dim view of this thread. The OP would be dismantled by at least three members I can think of. A well-known member of this site still blushes at being found wanting over there.

If I'm not mistaken, Byrd doesn't read hieroglyphs...least not fluently. Petroglyphs and cave art of the Americas is her speciality IIRC.

Hanslune and Byrd have been my favorite members in this section since I joined up. Their links and information led me to learn ever more. My interest in archaeology was ignited by the knowledge they have tried to share in A&LC. Now I'm stuck with a large archive of pdf academic papers that keeps growing...sigh...

Your hieroglyphs spell Zep Tepi.

Wow this is amazing.

Someone might have said this, but this conclusion reminds me of the movie Transformers: how the pyramids were used by the aliens(Fallen) to store a device to collect the power of the sun.

We are more 'enlightened' than we actually realize

I think the most interesting thing in that post is the section about Ed Leedskalnin and after doing some research he seems like a modern day ancient egyptian. Here's why: He only made it through the forth grade, in my opinion that would put him somewhat below the smartest of the egyptians but you can always learn more. He erected a telscope that points at the north star, which egyptians also had interest in. And the obvious he carved and built Coral Castle out of stone with amazing precision. The only unfortunate part is that if you try to read his publishings they are almost incomprehinsible with refrences to parts of atoms and electricity only he has used.
