Best video of a bird attack I have come across, I've watched it several times now and all the little details you can make out are amazing.

The strength in the legs.

The beauty of the wings.

The sharp gaze of the eye's.

The powerful talons opening.

I've seen owls in real life before (in nature not a cage) but never once have I seen this much detail. (the slow motion really helps)

That video makes me really, really glad I am not a rabbit.

Or, really, really glad we have no birds large enough to carry off an adult human.

Cool vid. I can testify to the strength of an owl's talons. A tawny owl hit a mate's car years ago. We stopped. It was injured so I picked it up with an idea of taking it to a vet or something the next day. To cut a long and unlikely story short (guns, balaclavas, spotlights and a jeep) ...it flinched and flexed it's claws. They went right through my palms like needles into an apple. Hurt a little.

Fantastic video!! Sometimes when I walk my dog at night there is an owl that follows us around. He will leapfrog the streetlights as we walk down the street. Sometimes I can feel his wings as he comes in low over my head on his way to the next streetlight. Owls are really neat creatures and I think they are smarter than what people give them credit for.

Oh wow! Magnificent! Those penetrating eyes. Non-wavering.
So incredibly focused. Truely an owl-some picture. (I intended to type awesome, it came out owlsome, so I left it.)

Just awesome, that would be a fine avatar (I'm thinking the movie sort).

I will not post one liners.
I will not post one liners.
I will not post one liners.

Ok, that's enough, the football game's on.
