Carbon Ration Book and "The Great Transition"

Seems there's a new website in town.....

But last week, I started using the Ration Me Up Carbon Ration Book, produced by the Ministry of Trying to Do Something About It for nef’s event, The Bigger Picture: Festival of Interdependence. Running a fridge 24/7 takes up a greedy 15% of my monthly ration: 6 out of 39 coupons. That’s the same as travelling 200 miles on a train. The fridge no longer looks like such a sensible idea.

Now I am sure a lot of people will be kicking and screaming about this.

Granted, I have not put any of these ideas into practical use, but much of it seems logical.

Why should we keep giving corrupt industries our money when there are simpler, less expensive ways to do things? Why not greener technology?

I certainly agree. Why should we give these mega monopoly corporations our money?
