While it has been some time since I have read anything about the disappearance or decline of the honey bee, it seems their dilemma is still
continuing.
Wired has an article that says the decline may be due to several factors.
A variety of pests, viruses and parasites could all be working together to stress the bees. And in some ways, that’s worse than trying to take
on a single culprit:

I did find the quote somewhat strangely worded. For instance, 'in some ways. that's worse than trying to take on a single culprit"... Huh? Are
they trying to say that 'in some ways, its easier to take on a multitude of culprits'?
But I digress...
Anyway, they say it takes up to 40% of all the bees in America to cross pollinate the almond trees. And they say these bees are unhealthy.
Anyway, I thought I wouldn't let this topic slip under the radar. Our environment and the creatures that depend on it is something we should all be
concerned about. Or at least aware of.
I think there is more at stake here then some almonds...
