I can't help but agree with you. The only politicians that I know of who I truly trust are Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Bernie Sanders. I am more big government and I am a Socialist but I believe so strongly in civil liberties that I am willing to turn our economy libertarian than let these monsters continue to hollow out the economy and spit on the constitution. I am also annoyed when people say that socialists hate the constitution, I love it and I believe that this is the basis that began all true freedom in the world and it kills me when I see it being used as nothing but a tool from the right to attack the left and as nothing but garbage to the left. Which just leaves u freedom lovers stuck in the middle of this fight trying to push both big men off of us so we can speak for the ritousness and truth.

I agree with you. The time will soon be here when ideology is thrown out the window. When the next Presidential election comes around..and unemployment, wars, corruption, lies are still rampant....this country will change...and I hope for the better.

2010 will likely see Republicans gain seats...but it wont' change anything. Giving tax cuts to corporations that have shipped most American jobs overseas for cheap labor will do nothing for our economy. It may bring some lower paying jobs back...but since our trade policies are absolutely terrible we are headed to slave labor like they have China and many other countries.

The future is grim...and like I stated earlier...we need something to be hopeful about.

Slightly off topic:

To my surprise my boss asking me about RAND PAUL and the tea party movement that he seen on ABC news. He actually sounded hopeful about it as he is sick of both corrupted parties as I am. He voted for Obama and has since grown very angry at the blatant lies that have came out of his administration.

Quite frankly Obama's Presidency is over barring a miracle. He'll be a one term President.

I hope to God we don't make another mistake and enough people have opened their eyes.

There is still one giant hurdle, Congress. Persay Ron Paul is elected president, he pass any legislation without congress approving it. But atleast we will have a man of truth in office.

Right. Public support may help though. Can you imagine Ron Paul criticizing Corporatism in the Corporate media? Condemning the military industrial complex...the CIA...actually PROSECUTING those who have broke the law both foreign and domestically?

Sign me up. Please. I anxiously await the day that a man on the podium calls everyone out.

Side note: If rand paul were to run...and win in 2012..which I believe is a possibility as well....that means Ron Paul will have a major influence in his presidency.

Rand Paul is a bit more moderate than Ron...but as far as I can tell he seems to be honest as well.

We'll see what happens.

Ron has a DAMN good chance, peope ahve learned how flawed and corrupt the system and corporate america is.

He has a chance...I agree...but it will be a tough battle. The Neo-cons will do everything they can to destroy him to keep him from getting the nomination.

Ron Paul is definitely getting more popular each day. Who knows how big this will be come election time.

David, Ron Paul is too radical.
I'm OK with him participating in the presidential debate but
the majority of Americans will not vote for him.
--------------------------------------------------------
I'll take a Sarah Palin/ Fred Thompson ticket.

I agree david. the thing is, its going to take perfet timing and perfect preciction making to get everyone in on this. Example, 2011 thigns arnt going so good economicaly. Ron paul has given out warnings of bubble bursts, take your stocks out, ect ect..trade in, buy up gold* them wham mid to late 2011 the SHTF..people are gunna start listening to him more and more, As a rule of thumb and humans..it takes something to happen for everyone to become belivers* people wait for someting to happen then worry, for sure! he'd be elected, but had also better have a promise and solution*
Maybe, if ron paul NOW, finds ways to prove himself to the populace, id ont know, more national headline news and warnings, but getting people to act on his words, hed look like gold right now! and by the time presidency diamonds*
Yeah the neo cons. thats what i was reffering tooi guess. Obviously our government faovrs corporations, and they have destroyed too much already, let alone laundering our tax money to them. With that, is power...that power NEEDS to be ousted*

HOw can you call Ron Paul too radical and then say Sarah Palin for President? She is a hard right neo-con...and not to mention..completely unintelligent. She would crumble under the pressure. She will be another Obama....who for some reason everyone keeps calling him a socialist...but he sure as hell looks like the biggest neo-con warmongering baffoon who loves cutting deals with corporations and giving trillions to bankers.

This is not different than Bush. It's all the same man. Sarah Palin will be no different. Many independents will never vote for her...ever......nor will most any liberal. She will not be President.

This country can't afford another disaster. Voting in another "celebrity" will be our demise.

I dont' know what more he can do to get more airtime on television. Ron Paul is literally on a news show every night...including msnbc and cnn. He's everywhere...although much less on Fox news of course. Glen Beck and Cavuto will have him on every so often...and Judge Napolitano almost always has Ron Paul on when he subs for Beck...but other than that...nothing. Hannity hates him...O'Reilly hates him...and the blatant Neo-Con show with Bret Baier will never have him on...ever.

Trust me...Ron Paul is getting more popular. More and more people know who he is..even those who don't watch television...they are hearing by word of mouth.

We'll see man! Give me some "real" hope and change! Not shattered dreams with change in my pocket.

Everyone is hearing about him. through youtube, Word of mouth, TV, and all other outlets.

He was a money machine back in 07/08, and his machine will quadrupole this next time around IF he plays his cards right.

It's definitely possible. If I had known about him then, I definitely would have donated.

It's amazing how having a kid made me actually care about politics. I never used to care. Literally right after we found out we were having a baby..the bank bailouts happened. Changed me forever in more ways than I ever would have thought.

I've been losing hair ever since.

@ your hair loss... which is probably the only humorous thing in your post.

I was not politically active, but i was anti-bush, and my whole family was pro bush. i heard of RP back in 2005, and listening to him changed my perception of politics forever. my nieces and nephew are going to have to deal with this crap in the future, and it breaks your heart because this generation is so brainwashed into believing what they are doing is the right thing due to MSM influence.

it made me sad because, well, our generation is failing miserably, and everyone is so far up their own ass, they dont know whats-what.

RP should of won the last election, but due to media bias and such, it never happened, and people AGREED to what he had to say then. the MSM skewed his public rating during that debate. pissed me off.

MSM at its best, and worst...

My dream ticket would be Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura in 2012. Both have served in office and know how the system operates. I believe they would have a legit shot as far as any interference from the CIA/Fed playing with the votes because they would call out TPTB, unlike Gore and Kerry who accepted the fruadulant results and skulked away with their tails between their legs.

Ron Paul HAS to run in 2012.

He has to give the American people Hope.

If ANY Repub can win it would be him. The US folks are starting to see the

2 headed monster the current system is.

He has to AVOID Palin like the plague. Can you imagine her in a Vice

President Debate, It would be worse than that old crazy guy Ross Perot

had for VP. (forgot his name)
