LONDON (Reuters) - British police boarded an Emirates plane bound for Dubai at London's Heathrow airport on Friday to deal with an "incident", an airport spokesman said.
WORLD
"There's an incident ongoing on a plane at Heathrow," the spokesman said.
Police said the airport remained open and could not confirm media reports of arrests. Witnesses told Sky News that armed police had boarded the plane, due to take off around 2000 GMT (3 p.m. EST), and removed one or two passengers.
"A verbal threat of some description was made. It was overheard. It was reported to members of the crew. "They were understandably very concerned. "They stopped the plane. The plane was taken back to some part of Heathrow, at which point anti-terror police boarded the plane.

Anyone else get the impression the 'fear factor' is being jacked up to ridiculous levels on both sides of the Atlantic?
Either something big is on the way, or something big (but not evident yet) has already happened (or is happening) and this is being used to deflect attention away from it.
What type of something... No idea

Is that right? - Or am I being gullible again?
