This is a statement that could only be made by someone who does not have to live in or adjacent to a Muslim area. Look up the phrase 'cuckoo in the nest'.

most the people that preach this multicultralism don't live in 'diverse' areas.

how are u in any way giving up your own culture? this is one world, one people who are all different but the same, they shouldn't have to give up their cultures to suit others. You can still have you culture so long as it doesn't include bigotry or racism.

why can't i have a 'racist' culture... because you think it's wrong??? and why are you right?

enough with your cultural imperialism

Really? Think about what you just said. Heil hitler somewhere else mate.

No, not at all. I'm saying that if they move into a country then they are subject to said country's laws and expectations. National boundries still exist for a reason.

I wouldn't move to Afghanistan and expect to be able to enjoy the ladies the way I do now, I'd probably be stoned to death for hugging a girl in the wrong way.

Your exactly right. I almost feel like I've made an insulting remark now if I wish someone "Merry Christmas" because it's almost a bad word. Yet I seem to recall every other religion getting to make a great big deal about their sacred holidays. I'm not saying that people can't practice whatever religious beliefs they want. This country isn't perfect but it's a pretty awesome place to be and wouldn't want to be anywhere else and I've seen every corner of this world. Used to be a sailor and have travelled extensively on "shore leave".

Leave religion out of government.

My quote of Howards speech was about the "Right to Leave". They chose to come there of their own free will and if they don't like they have the right to leave if they choose or live in their new country and learn it's language and ways. How are you suppose to earn a decent living if you don't have a grasp on the language used for society and the way that country works.

I wouldn't move to Japan without learning Japanese and as much as I could about their customs and traditions. I wouldn't bitch and complain because they didn't understand my English?

Wake up man, I'm not trying to be condescending or anything but read some Huxley.

Diversity which becomes monotony in a world as politicized as our is never going to be a good thing.

Hate to break it to you.. I am Muslim.

And you people are fascists.

When our country collapses you will only have to look in the mirror to pass blame.

You support the fascism. You support the imperialism. You support the uncontrolled spending, the consumerism, the over inflated housing market. You support the house of cards economy, and Wall Street pilfering of public funds.

Any other nation that has any other way of life is inferior and barbaric, right?

Heaven forbid people should be able to afford a roof over their head without spending their entire paycheck for 30+ years.

No, I'm not at all. I'm saying that they allowed the settlers to have their own culture and were promptly slaughtered. They tried to share their culture, they were innocent. We don't have an innocent world, it's survival of the fittest here.

It's a bad BAD deal the indians were killed, and not their fault. They didn't think like the western world, they had no reason to. I'm an Indian, Comanche to be exact. Read my post and think about what I'm saying.

The indians let the white man come over and have his way, the white man took over and got rid of the indians. That, my friend, is diversity at work.

You think that everybody comes to a country should "assimilate"? You think all people should act and dress western, or else they don't belong? Did the Europeans that came to the US decide to wear moccasins, put on a head dress, and live in a tepee? Heck no.

And look at what happened to the people who wore the moccasins, put on head dresses and lived in tepees.....notice they were almost made extinct and a humongous chunk of those cultures was lost forever.

nice way to defeat your own argument.

WTF? You are really saying that because the Native Americans didn't bow down to their new overlords as soon as their ship touched shore, that they deserved to die?

Are you really saying that we all need to copy everything the Europeans do, or else you shouldn't be allowed to do it?

Are you really saying that people shouldn't be able to dress the way they want?

Are you really that stupid?

Well, as long as it's not YOU that's being told to change. Then it's OK. Right?

Nobody deserves to die. Everybody deserves to learn from the mistakes of the past.

I'm not really sure how everyone missed the point of that post so dramatically. I meant the exact opposite of what you think. The indians were killed because they thought they could live and let live, they soon found out that the rest of the world was evil as hell.

Diversity is fine, i mean only in america will you see a muslim, a jew and a black guy and mexican celebrating an irish holiday. To me that is uniquely american and because of it we should stand united.

This much is evident in your posts. No surprises there!
Nothing against Muslims so you can throw out labels like fascist all you like
.
But for the record, I happen to agree with a lot of what you say.
The problem is the takeover of an indigenous culture by another which is hellbent on expansion and converting the indigenous culture to it's own beliefs and laws.
I say again to peeps - look up 'cuckoo in the nest'.
Oh and I am all for a hotch potch of cultures and tolerance of each others beliefs. But I suggest visiting towns like Bradford in the UK to see what constitutes 'diversity' in our failed and entirely fictitious multiculturalistic society.

There's a distintction here that needs to be made, though.

From my understanding of the situation in France and the rest of Europe they're losing much of their identity because of such a large influx of Muslims. From what I've heard it's beginning to be like what's happening in South Texas, it's harder to find someone who speaks English than Spanish down there.

That is my understanding, if I'm wrong about that then I will quit. But IF that's the case then I would suspect this has more to do with national identity than with religious freedom.

Religious freedom is fine and dandy as long as you're not breaking your country's laws in practicing. If a muslim man is forcing his wife to wear a veil against her will then that's infringing her rights given in that country.

The culture isn't hell bent on expansion. They're "hell bent" on living their lives. The TV is "hell bent" on serving you up this propaganda to make you believe that your country is "under attack".

And I don't call you a "fascist" because its some catchphrase to call you. I am calling you a fascist because you fit the TRUE DEFINITION OF THE WORD.

Fascism - definition

A totalitarian philosophy of government that glorifies the state and nation and assigns to the state control over every aspect of national life. The name was first used by the party started by Benito Mussolini , who ruled Italy from 1922 until the Italian defeat in World War II. However, it has also been applied to similar ideologies in other countries, e.g., to National Socialism in Germany and to the regime of Francisco Franco in Spain.

You sir, are a true neo-fascist. It's really sad that you are so blinded by the propaganda to realize what you've become.

I smell the feminist movement. They've also recently made insults illegal in marriage. It irks them no end to see women subjugated, and are adamant in their solipsism.
That being said, it's no one's business what the french do except the french. Take Quebec for example. They are aggressive in maintaing their culture and have succeeded in doing so because of it.

Good. burkas are used in the oppression of women and are a BAD symbol against womens rights. they SHOULD be banned, until all women have a genuine CHOICE as to whether they want to wear it or not.

if there's no choice, its oppression and needs to stop.

the reason for the feminist movement is that generations of women finally got sick of being abused by men. Learn some history before posting ignorant comments..
