I can't blame you for thinking like that about Obama. He is not our savior. We are supposed to save ourselves.

The people are not behind the current system. They know it, and they are trying to sully as many hands as they can, such as the thread on the militia rounding up a houseful of children and killing them, that is circulating on the net. This is something done deliberately to try and lower the frequency and make people co-repsonsible. But this is a fascist system, not even close to grass roots democracy or empowerment of the people, and its not a free will system if the only way they accept our no is if we stage a violent revolution, and this is the kind of machine they've set up, so that it would take that step, and they know most cant.

But most people are not behind them, this has certainly been noticed. In the free will system (which is questionable) the global consciousness has been noted. And I'm so happy. Changes are finally coming.

See the way the game is, the leaders do whatever tehy want, and even when you protest, you cant win. Look at vietnam protests and they were huge and how long it took to end the war. They don't listen and only a few wins happen.

In the meantime, people not out protesting are seen as supporters. No, they're underpaid slave labor so caught up in day to day traumas and stress they have a hard time waking up, but most of them don't like the system much.

They want people to be so goaded they will react violently in a revolution. They see this all as a win/win for them either way. They think they have tainted us either way, and then we won't be helped, or will lose grades.

In reality, our intents have been noted. Changes are coming. They don't win in their system. There is no such thing as a win/win for them, where you lose every way you turn.
The overworked stressed out public are noted. The protestors are noted. Our thoughts, minds and feelings are noted.

And things are finally going to change.

I think the most important point you make is that Obama went into office, not having a clue what he was getting himself into.

I wouldn't be surprised that within the first week, he was sat down in a room, and shown a video of the kennedy assasination and told: "This is what happens when you don't listen to us".

He probably isn't controlled to the extent that most people think, however I'm pretty sure every once in a while he gets a phone-call or meeting from a guy in a black suit, reminding him of his allegiance to them, rather than the people.

As you have said, "fear-porn" is their best tool to keep control. As long as people are fearful, they are going to trust anyone who offers them protection, especially there government!

I really do think 2012 is going to be an interesting year... It will be VERY interesting to see what happens on the political level.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but I can't help but feel like there are a group / band of people on ATS that keep going with an all-too-familiar mantra:

It's not Obama. It's not Congress. They have no idea what's REALLY happening. It's the "shadow government". It's the "secret societies". It's the secret attendees of the "elites" that are really in the know....THAT's WHOM we have to go after....

You know what my problem with that is? It's a bug 'ol excuse for inaction. How exactly does one go after a group whose members are a secret? How does one go after a shadow government that nobody can truly identify?

Is it not simply a waste of time to sit and ponder who is really in charge....all the while we are watching our freedoms disintegrate, our money going to support waste and corruption, and watching scores of coffins arrive from those fighting a senseless war.....all at the hands of the people that ARE in charge right NOW!

Now don't misunderstand me. I do believe there is a NWO. I do believe there are elitists running the "ultimate end-game". However, what I completely disagree about is the role that our current and past governments have played.

Why should we just sit back and wait for the "true powers" to be revealed? There are REAL, IDENTIFIABLE people in government positions right now furthering the agenda of unknown / unnamed people. We need to start with them.

It is our current Congress, and our current President, that is continuing the failed policies of the past eight years. Is it merely coincidence that there is an entirely new political party in power right now, but yet the policies of "the other side" are being furthered? Wouldn't it have made more sense that if the POTUS and Congress WERE NOT aware of the NWO agenda that they would have NOT suddenly decided to further what are typically considered "Republican" agendas? Doesn't anyone else find it strange that the separation between political parties is becoming more and more obscure with only HOW they generate waste being the main difference?

The fish rots from the head down. If we want to take back our countries, and try to save what's left of the world from being destroyed by corrupt, greedy politicians, we should stop giving a pass to all those currently elected to represent our needs and desires and begin removing them from office one by one.

Without a puppet government in play, the shadow government will emerge. It is then that they can be identified. It is then that we can start OUR end-game.

I find it completely impossible that Obama and his cronies just happen to be successfully helping the NWO agenda without fully knowing exactly what it is they are trying to accomplish.

wow, i couldnt honestly read most of the "stuff" posted so far in this thread. Why you may ask? Its simple for me to see that even though i do not know the source this seems much more like a regugation of words and not the Ops heartfelt thoughts and theories. Im not saying that he/she doesnt buy into them its just so lopsided that it makes me feel as if he/she doesnt have all the facts available to him/her.

Why would you think the NWO/illuminanti or other world leading power as such if failing now? If you subscribe to the theory that they are in power you must also subscribe that they have been in power for a very long time. Im not talking hundreds of years but most likely thousands, and that the same "people" that are ruling us now are the same that ran Rome. If you think about the state of the world from this time to that time we as a human population have been in much more dire straights. (I.E. the black plague, WWI, WWII, the great depression, The fall of Rome, and so on and so forth.)

To think that you could take down a group or organization such as these via any other way then an armed revolt is astounding to me anyways. The fact of the mater is you couldnt remove them from power even with an armed revolt its not practical at least to me to think its possible. its like saying that you are going to bring down the catholic church using the media (i.e. priest child molestation charges) what did that do oh im sorry they were just bad priest.... go work out of this parish now where no one knows who you are. Its just not really going to happen in my opinion anyways power begits power as they say. The elites are not bankrupt. They have created, and profited from, every financial "collapse" we've ever had. Obama had brezinsky(spelling) as his advisor. He's NWO old-school style. He knew the score from the beginning. If Barack Obama were not on their team, several things would have already happened:

1) The minute he had his AG confirmed, Holder or whoever else it might have been, they would have RAIDED the fed to get at the books, and shut them down, because Obama knows damn well the whole FED is a massive scam(and unconstitutional to boot. he's a constitutional law professor). This would have been followed by the arrest of GWB and dick cheney(with others to follow) for war crimes and NUMEROUS violations of U.S. code title 18. They admitted it on national television. That's more than enough for a warrant. THAT would have been followed by a re-investigation of 9/11, because these guys, with all their bravado, fold like bitches when it comes to doing hard time. they would have given the justice dept. all they needed to investigate who really did 9/11. Hint. It wasn't Osama Bin Laden.

2) AIPAC would have been forced to register as an agent of a foreign government, because, they are. Plus these mother#ers are at the center of the most aggressive espionage operation to have ever been leveled at the United States.

3) He would have set in motion the complete withdrawal of all U.S. forces in Iraq/afghanistan/pakistan etc. per his campaign promise to end the war.

4) After doing the above, he would be assasinated. the fact that he's still alive is a clue he's playing ball. The ones who didn't had names like Kennedy and Wellstone. Capish?

So, OP, although I absolutely agree these folks need to be stopped, I think you're wrong to think them weakened. Things have not gone according to their plans in some instances, but, overall, they still run this bitch. And until the american people rise up and put a stop to it, they will continue to run this bitch. We are the only ones who can. What I am getting at is, if we do win this war, what will happen after? Will we follow our road we are currently on or change? You are right that government "reflects" the citizens ideals, to an extent that is.

Lately it seems like everyone for themselves, so those are the type of people we are electing also.
