Nice thread. I have enjoyed listening to a lot of the songs.
Here are a few of my favs at the moment. Lately I've been on a Kings of Leon kick. In fact, their latest album is the only album I have bought in years. Bought it just to support them.

Fantastic groove that these guys put down. Great vocals as well.

Here's another.

I'm becoming more and more of a Grateful Dead fan as well. Pigpen at his finest, imo.

What a guitar solo! Garcia could really wail on that SG.

Of course, I am also a big Pearl Jam fan. I really like this newer song entitled Just Breathe.

I forgot one of my favorite bands. They need to be represented.
Listen to this one all the way through. If I were personally producing any sort of drama movie, this would be on the soundtrack.
Little Motel - modest mouse

This band is great. If you guys haven't given them a listen, check them out. Very well written are all of their songs, and the arrangement is unique, but fascinating, IMO.

And for my last entry, this is just one of those you can't top. The first time I heard it was on the credits from 'Finding Forrester'.
Well, just found out he passed away. Sad..He looked like such a sweet soul. RIP Israel Kamakawiwo.
