Sorry Janky.

I just cannot stand controls on discussion.

It is one of my pet peaves.

I should have showed him/her a thread where a member used logical games to dissuade instead of telling him/her to not try to stop discussion.

Sorry maybereal. Explain to them the problems with the left right paradigm and the institution of control it provides. You know the one where Dem=Repub, and the corporate masters.

Anyhow the radio dude is very extreme, he really hates as I have caught him a few times.

I am NOT sure this attack was not a false flag, the fellow could have gone to the restroom
and achieved his goals 1,2,3 - Now witnesses are being demonized for suggesting other individuals were present in some capacity. The former Sec. of Homeland is a paid employee for the companies who manufacture the solution this new case has presented.
This case would have been the area of expertise the Sec would have known the best,
Airport security and the evasion of such...

I am not sure who, I can only speculate, but it does stink, much to be gained with a Public in fear, especially in security and defense. Maybe the Democrats to pass healthcare, although I do not see how that would better their case or numbers...

As I understand it, he spent quite some time in the bathroom prior to returning to his seat. Probably to pull the condom full of PETN out of his anus and to set up his contraption. Apparently, his seat selection placed him directly above the wing and the fuel tanks contained within.

Well since you don't know him the members here should not discuss him.

Is there anything else you do not know about that the members should not discuss?

Nowhere in my post did I suggest the topic should or could not be discussed.

Read it again. My issue was with this kind of BS....

Taking an idiotic statement by some guy I never even heard of and making the leap from one idiot to ...

Malloy isn't alone in his views. Keith Obermann claims that CIA pulled this bomb stunt just to make Obama look bad.

THey are both idiots!

Obermann I do know. I watched him once and he struck me as an idiot.

What to say? So? I don't consider this Malloy guy or Obermann representitive of the Democratic Party.

So in the end I am not interested in those who pounce on dumb things entertainers say as an opportunity to try and claim it is the opinion of the "Liberal" movement in this country.

It impresses me as a celebration of divisive bitter rhetoric.

The success of the USA is dependant on us working together despite our different perspectives and these talking heads, as well as yourself with these kinds of "spun" OPs with the intent to divide and inflame treat our national discourse like a sporting event.

Not in the mood anymore...

Want to discsuss whether Malloy's statement is valid? Sure. I don't think so.

Want to discuss if Malloy is an idiot trying to make money? I think so.

Want to spout off about how "Liberals have sank to a new low"?

For the love of God...enough already.

My point is it was a LONG flight why would he not finish the deed with another trip to the bathroom? There he could have been unobserved and able to correct any minor mishaps.

He could have succeeded in making the flight deck a kill zone, slow death trap or inoperational. Or attacked the fins in the aft which would have been devastating
I ASSUME.

Instead he choses to fumble around in plain sight and repeat the same mistakes of other would be in flight bombers?

At the same time his seat selection would be optimal for execution and a story alike...

I thought you yourself felt suspicion towards the silencing of the lawyer who had more information to provide? Would a local PD treat a murder witness in such a way?

I would assume BILLIONS in profit would be just a strong motivating factor as Jihad.

He had his moment either way, illuminated his cause, created fear and the security budgets are likely being bumped world wide. Sounds like a win - win

Do you think this smells clean? be honest?

G'day.

That makes perfect sense!! I bet Dick Cheney built this particular bomb and it was Bush who placed it in the crotch of this poor kidnapped child from Nigeria. I also had heard that Dick paid the kid $100 for his service.

Case closed! Bring in the next terrorist bomber.

The sad thing is that despite you being obviously sarcastic, its quite believable Dick Cheney would do something like that. The man is a monster.

Seriously, I think this is nothing more than sensationalism. A common tactic to increase listeners by both the right and left talk shows. It goes step in step with the fear and hatred the right and left talking heads push to get listeners.

I am highly suspicious of this attempt by Dutch Authorities to silence and discredit Haskell. I started a thread on the topic. This whole incident is highly suspect in many ways. All the way down to the second man being escorted away in handcuffs. Mum is still the word and not a single clip of video surveillance has been shown. I suppose that it will be a year before we see any of that evidence.

The bomb plot was certainly staged, however I doubt it was for political gain.

Most likely monetary gain.

Republican or democrat makes no difference, L3, Rapiscan, etc.. all stand to make a fortune in contracts should the government decide to replace all metal detectors with naked body scanners.

That means the politicians who benefit from those corporate players are going to push for them.

It also means there is massive financial incentive for such a bomb plot to take place.

If I offered you a hundred million dollar equipment contract if you stuck some kid on a plane with a crappy bomb that you knew wouldn't hurt anyone with almost no direct risk of you getting caught doing it, would you do it?

Check out Lieberman's campaign donors - Lehman, which owned L3 is his sixth largest donor.

Check out Chertoff, he runs a company that makes scanners.

and on and on.

Well we agree on this...

If there was any political gain to be made it would be a secondary benefit I believe.

Money seems to be the goal

and lets not forget airports around the world, suddenly hundreds of millions sounds like chump change -

I've said this before in other posts. This incident was done for 3 or 4 reasons but the main one has already begun.
Nixon had his enemy's list.
Obama has his No Fly list. This incident has allowed him to greatly expand his No Fly list. The listed can now be considered non persons.

a.The United States Supreme Court, in a one-line ruling, declared that torture is an “ordinary, expected consequence of military detention”, and stated that anyone who is arbitrarily declared a “suspected enemy combatant” by President Obama or his designated officials is “no longer a person.”
b.Executive Order [Executive Order 13524/US Federal Register/Vol.74, No. 243/Monday, December 21, 2009/Presidential Documents 67803] granting unlimited power to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) to not only begin arresting American citizens and sending them to overseas prison camps, but also giving to them “unconditional immunity” from all US laws.
c.Executive Order 13524 he further states that the “property and assets of international organizations, wherever located and by whomsoever held, shall be immune from search, unless such immunity be expressly waived, and from confiscation. The archives of international organizations shall be inviolable”.

Just don't end up on the No Fly list. You can be arrested without due process because you are no longer a person.

I'm glad only Fox spews propoganda. Sorry, had to get that in there. In all seriousness though, obviously the guy has issues, this isn't the first time he's done something like this so, why even take anything he has to say seriously. Both sides have idiots spewing rather stupid things almost on a daily basis, I think this is a case of damn....how do I stir up a hornets nest so people will talk about me. Ignore him......

Why not? It worked so well on 9/11, got us into two wars we were desperate to start. Wouldn't surprise me if the GOP set this one up as well.

this delta bomber "hoax" was obvious from the onset. his father may have BEEN in banking but he deals alot with the israeli's. the bomber was refused a visa to the U.K. a year earlier. a credible witness saw him escorted to the plane without a passport. why dont we see a video of his movements from dutch authorities? or has it vanished along with the pentagon boeing?
gulf of tonkin, 911, they are getting more obvious by the minute. all false flags. U.K., OZ, the US of A, they all regularly execute some devious plan and arrest a few moslems to keep the "terror alert" gauge high in the red.
they have to keep your fear on the boil so all good citizens will accept the carnage from the illegal wars in irak, afghan'n and soon to be iran. yemen is the latest flavor of the month, and sits strategically close to the mouth of the suez canal. it wont matter if the democrats or republicans are in "power", for they take their orders from higher up. hope you've all got vege gardens happening.

So, Obamas administration is so impotent that the GOP can just do what ever it wants, and he'll fall for it? Now I feel secure.

Why not? After all, the American people fell for the idea that more security would keep them safe after 9/11.

Then came along Richard Reid and blew that bs out of the water.

Alright, now we are to believe the GOP, even though they have the minority in both houses and the Dems have the Presidency, somehow anything that is bad will be blamed on the GOP?

Is this the NEW tactic whatukno?

Start spreading the deception that anything that goes wrong now is the fault of the GOP?

Get off your Dem bandwagon and open your eyes please.

Silly endisnighe, the GOP isn't to blame for anything but scare tactics. (well besides orchestrating 9/11.)

The only thing that the GOP has as far as any strategy goes is fear. That's all they have left because they have no real plan for this country, so what do they do? They try and make people afraid of the Dems.

You want the proof? The exact same event happened with Richard Reid in 2001 and the Republicans did nothing. Richard Reid if I need to remind you is the infamous shoe bomber, the only difference between him and the Christmas day bomber is location of the freaking bomb.

But the Republicans failed in 2001. Do we really blame them? Of course not, we blamed the TSA for that. But now in 2010 we blame the Dems for the failure of the TSA for nearly the same exact event.

Give me a break, it's not the Dems fault it's a failure in overseas security.

Very much agreed on the security problem.

I use to deal with gov all the time, someone pretty much has to be a total moron and make errors 50 times before they are fired. Then when they are fired, they get all of the perks that came with their positions. e.g. healthcare, pensions.

I had one building inspector so incompetent that I hated to see him come to my site. It meant I had to walk the inspection again after he left to make sure he did not miss any problems.

I feel the very incompetence I have witnessed is indicative of a prevalent problem in government.

It has nothing to do with competence, it has to do with Cover Your #. Have 5 studies and numerous discussions before anything is done.

I believe you and I would see eye to eye on more things than not if we were not divided by the 2 party system. I use to think the Repub's had my back, but with the idiocy since Reagan, no one has my back or anyone's back for that matter. The politicians only have the back of the Corps and the government bureaucracy.

I will get you to see my side yet!

Wukky is on Wukky's side, no other, if my side coexists with your side, all is well and good, if my side clashes with your side, then we lock horns.

I don't fall in with just democrats, nor do I fall in with just the GOP. I fall in on my side, if your with me, that's great, if you aren't stay out of hell's way.

It's so weird how so many visitors to ATS, in their infinite open mindedness towards the manipulation of the masses and fear of the New World Order..... still believe anything that came out of the Bush Cheney office. How do you reconcile those highly suspect years?

I just don't understand how people devoted to the truth, and against the manipulation of people... could ever side with those guys?

I mean... all the legal scandals alone... and the direct connection to Halliburton... or if you want to get all conspiracy NWO... the fact that the President, his father, and grandfather were all Skull & Bones... and spokespeople for The New World Order...

I guess what I'm trying to say is... it's hard to take the right-wing rejects seriously when they can't even acknowledge the deep damage and potentially criminally treasonous acts committed by the previous administration?

It's not a blame game... it's kind of like... if you can claim allegience to mass murdering war criminals... how can anyone take your problems with Obama seriously?
