Can we please stop using SX/XXX words in titles?

www.abovetopsecret.com

Companies Firewalls blocks what may be relevant ATS threads.

I am ranting here as a lot of threads are blocked not only for me but others as well, so mods please feel free to redirect this thread as needed,
TA

I have to put this in somehow so that those with a 'shocking' story about anything 'sex' either child porn, body scanners, orgasm's or simply the word PORN, please stop using these words in your titles, as company firewalls think its a sex site and blocks what could be a either a good read or a thread we as blockee's may have an opinion on.
So please show a bit of common sense , and for the sake of ATS'ers at work , stop using sex words in your titles to try and prove your a 'valuable contributer' to ATS.
Thanks

Edited to add , instead of using the word PORN, use words like 'Adult material', theres no point being all sensationalist if people can't read the article is there?

Did you have to double up on the whole thread to get your point across?

Didn't mean to, the pc went a bit spazzy as I pressed submit it blocked it straight away becasue of the wording ( hence the issue
), and then I couldn't edit the one with SEX in the title.

I had to post the same thing in both threads.

Don't tell me you guys are working the same place? lmao if so.

The humanity of calamity.

Damn it I was going to flag em both.

Anyway do you have some examples ?
i agree there really is no need for the smut.
Tom petty said the same of song writing. It can always be acheived minus
any filth and filth always lowers the quality of music.
That was shortly before Godsmack came out and proved you could get
away with it if the venue is right.

Well, according to ATS rules we have to use the headline of the article if it's in Breaking News.

Why don't you just ask your boss to remove the firewall so you can browse ATS at work? Tell him there may be a thread you have an opinion on, and I'm sure that if he's a reasonable man, he'll accommodate you.

Since you asked nicely...I will answer nicely.

No...the entire community of ATS will not stop using certain nouns and adjectives just so "you" may surf easier from work.

Yeah sorry, but I just can't see how it is the responsibility of the ATS members to try and word their titles to suit your needs. If their is a title with the words sex, porn, etc... in the title I guess you will have to be bothered to read that thread when you are at home, and not on company time.

You should be ok though, with all of the content on this site I am certain that you can find plenty to keep you busy at work.

Those type of words are not allowed in titles.

1b.) Profanity: You will not use profanity in our forums, and will neither post with language or content that is obscene, sexually oriented, or sexually suggestive nor link to sites that contain such content. You will also not use common alternative spellings or net-speak alternative for profane words.

So, if you see something that breaks ATS Terms and Conditions alert it or use the ATS Complaitn / Suggestion form.

However, when posting a Breaking Alternative News thread, the OP is required to use the actual title of the article, example being the link you posted. So, there is nothing wrong with the example given.
