White powder found at Montgomery court

Montgomery's Municipal Court Building was evacuated about 10:40 a.m. Tuesday because workers found an envelope containing a white powder. Mayor Todd Strange said the powder was in an envelope that appeared to be a payment of a court fine. He said the envelope was mailed from out of state.

It seems to me that some people are either trying to assess how well an actual anthrax attack will succeed, or there are some very sick people in trouble with the Alabama law.

The powder turned out to be harmless, thank goodness, but the number of incidents such as this is causing concern.

Aside from around 9-11 when those brutal anthrax attacks took place- when was the last time that one of these threats was actually anthrax?

You see one of these in the news every few months....some building gets some suspicious powder that isn't really anthrax...
