China's UN ambassador said Tuesday that the time was not right for new sanctions against Iran over its refusal to halt sensitive nuclear fuel work, and urged more time for a diplomatic solution.
"This is not the right moment for sanctions," Zhang Yesui, who chairs the UN Security Council this month, told reporters.
