transexuals in the Olympics

There is a big "to do" about trannies in the olympics. Are they men? Are they women? Are they women or are they men? No one can use steroids so Why should it be that people can use surgery and testosterone or estrogen to change their chemical balance and then compete? Im baffled.

This matter seems to be resolved - a decision obviously not taken lightly.

It explains the change in body fat/ muscle of transexuals, the fact their new gender must be legally recognised and that they must have had at least 2 years postoperative hormone therapy.

I don't give an arse. A human being is a human being and the olympics bores the crap out of me anyway.
