Volcano watch 2010

I am going back over the previous days photos at Vodafone. Hourly and minutely. Man, I need a life, but that's another story haha.

Don't fret dear - we got it for you. Next time, maybe you will have it for us. We all take watch - sorry it didn't happen on your watch, but maybe next time it will - When events like this happen - as today - I get all like where's x - where's y where's z = wish I had their #'s - want to shake my screan and say HEY - LOOK - WAKE UP or WHERE ARE YOU - :-)

I know people have personal videos of this volcano and I can't wait to see them. Will have to do a deep google search.

I'm now able to see, on the Live Útsýni frá Fimmvörðuhálsi Cam, that there is definitely more new activity to the right of the frame.. or have I been staring too long?

Yeah , I see that on the cam. I dunno. I wish daylight would get there, got a few more hours to go. I can't pull an allnighter tonight, gotta go to dentist in the morning. gripe and moan.

See bottom left of the snow mass, where there's a big, black area - that's it.

here you find a Map which shows the eruptive zones, the text is in German, but the map is islandic any way.

which is why iv remained silent though most of the goings on . ...

Looks to me like the new crater rim/top has collapsed...

.. vents to the left are getting really feisty right now, too.

Yea cams are looking good today, Volcano is showing some good action. Also seen planes flying over the volcano for the past 30 mins or so, looks like somebody is worried.

Which cam are you looking at? On one of the ones I saw earlier, something caught my eye, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

QuakeData 3.5.3 Build 42 Available

You can get the download using the link in my signature. It is about 13Mb download.

If you have already installed QD then you will possibly see an update when you re-start after installing (if this has not happened already). Same goes for a fresh install. This is needed to update the database for the plot stations.

If you are installing from new I recommend that you also download the data file which has been updated to yesterday and contains all the station information.

If you are downloading and installing the latest data file you MUST download and install the registry entries file and unzip it to disk, then double click to install the entries. You should do this |BEFORE you run the program again.

You can also run this if it has already been updated and it will install all the web cam settings and lat/lon shapes and plot settings that I use.

There is still work to be done on the plot viewers, but basically they are all working.
