Pink Dinosaur Appears in New Zealand Volcano

A web cam that is monitoring a volcanoe in New Zealand has picked up an unusual visitor. Someone has placed a little dinosaur in the web cams view. Some people have too much time on their hands!

"Some wag has glued a pink dinosaur in front of our digital camera," GNS' John Callan said.

That's not just any pink dinosaur. It's Fred Flintstones loveable pet, Dino.

At least they had the good taste not to put up Barney.

Just make sure you don't yell "yabba dabba doo" in New Zealand or else he will drown you with slobber...

It's photochopped. Look at the shadows. I ran this through a couple of filters, and you can see where they cropped the picture from a different source, then applied masks to the layers to give it the appearence of being in the crater.

I've had it up to here with purple dinosaurs...

From now on, I'm adjusting the tint on my tv to a pleasant shade of green.
