Aldrin talks about a UFO in the moon to a Bolivian author

Found this from reuters, it is in spanish:

It says that Aldrin told a Bolivian author 10 years ago about him seeing a UFO on the Moon in 1969. Apparently in the same mission they saw some type of flash coming from earth, and Aldrin (or NASA) identified it coming from Bolivia. Aldrin visited Bolivia a few times to see for himself where the flash came from, and this is how this author contacted him and got a testimony.

I cannot say if this is true or not, but it comes from reuters that is somewhat a credible source.

I would love to read an English version of the article before I make any assumptions, but Aldrin is known for opening up about his experiences in space.

We can only imagine what he's seen, and what he's not making public.

I can't shed much light on the alleged comments by Aldrin to the Bolivian author, but I can show you some of the public record evidence related to the light source that Aldrin reported sighting during his Apollo 11 mission.

In the Apollo 11 Post-Mission Technical Crew Debriefing interviews, Aldrin spoke a bit about this sighting. In Section 21.5 - Visual Sightings - Lunar Orbit - Aldrin says...well, you can just read what he says for yourselves, rather than me typing it all out.

I may as well also point out a more impressive Apollo 11 sighting (more interesting than this "laser/reflective" sighting in my opinion) that was also discussed during the Post-Mission Technical Debriefing interviews. These quotes come from the portion of the document called Section 6-4 - Rest Periods, and references an object all three astronauts observed while they were in cis-lunar space during the Trans-Lunar Coast phase of the mission, well over half-way to the Moon. Again, I will just throw the 3 and a half pages of conversation cropped straight from the documents up here, as it is easier than typing it all out.

This is really an amazing article!

I've always thought that the whole reason that there is so much evidence that photography and video footage taken on the moon was doctored or hoaxed, was because that releasing real photographs and video would reveal that there are indeed ET's out there watching us.

I think that as the first wave of US astronauts and Apollo veterans start getting old, they will start talking more about what really went on during their missions.

Nice one Luna, I was just getting ready to post those docs, but in youtube form. Things are starting to validate each other, which is good. Of course, what they are validating, is still curious to us all. Are there any ancient ruins there?

Not too odd -- the Bolivia story is a retranslation of American tabloid press stories way back in the early 1970s, originally documented and debunked back then, so long ago that folks who run across them now forget they were discredited decades ago.

First they didnt land at all. Then they did but they saw aliens. Then thats the explanation for 'doctored' photos. And soon, the reason we haven't gone back was we were warned.

I think noticias 24 is one of the main news channels in spain but im not sure.
Im portuguese so I understand whats written and in my cable tv i get the 24 news channel. once ~i think it was on tve5 or something like that there was a news info about a crop circle in spain.

In portugal, alentejo there are alot of reported ufo sightings and rumors about alien bases in the mountains.
In 2000 to 2005 something like that there were about 3 to 5 sightings a year it would always show on tv with videos and etc.

I would still like to know how they where able to take those good pictures from a spacesuit, especially when they can't look through the reticle. Also something did happen around this time with the moon, I think we where warned off. Also I didn't know this but during the summer Buzz Aldrin made comment about a monolith on phobos Mars moon. I checked and there is one, he made this comment on Cspan (I'll post the link). I truly believe that he's holding alot of stuff about what really happened during his time in the program.
