Interesting. Where are RSOE getting their figures? I posted a 5.9, and it seems your 5.4 is the same event, yet USGS is still showing it as a 5.9.

Then there was a 5.5 straight after. Hope it is not stirring.

Hi Folks,

As many of you are probably aware, there is yet another update to Firefox that prevents eQuake from working. This first happened with the update to Firefox 3.6.0, we found a new version. Firefox has again been updated to version 3.6.2 eQuake wouldn't work again. I've done some googling and found a new version on the eQuake face book page.

I can confirm that this works with the latest release of Firefox 3.6.2.

Here's the link www.facebook.com...

Where are you locating the webicorder plot? NC is not a real-time network yet you seem to be getting current data.

I can't get it through IRIS

Network NC :: USGS Northern California Regional Network
Start Year 1967
End Year 2500

Stations for NC network 1967 to 2500 (0 stations)
Station Site Latitude Longitude Elevation First start Last end

No data available in real-time systems
No data available in archive

Mind it would not be the first time that the IRIS metadata is wrong

Addendum: By the way I would not be worrying about the big spikes. If you look at the bottom that recorder is only set on 20 micro volts.

To sandri_90:

It would seem they have dropped the event we were looking at and have another one at a time when USGS says noting about any quakes in Chile.

In the USGS data the 5.9 event @ 21:28 still stands.

RSOE also do not know what UTC is!!!

Their server is about 4 minutes slow and they are showing UTC as the same time as BST. See my clock bottom right. That is BST which 1 hour ahead of GMT/UTC/ZULU

I am inspired with confidence

The quietness of quakes is unnerving to me. No big 5's since Liberator O'Higgins very early this morning. I think its the volcano time now, for a while, then they will interact and we will have shakes and spews together.

My little bay area has not had even a small quake for ages.. Ima little scared!
