Okay that is about two hours from my house. Great. More concerning, are the stations around it, including those that are getting close to helens and rainier.

My problem, is that while many of these look really odd and like something is going on, I don't normally monitor these stations, so I don't know what 'normal noise' is for them. The quality of the graphs that I am pulling up doesn't allow me to look that closely at those signals, and I can't tell it is true seismo activity or something else. Those are in populated areas so I am not going to jump to any conclusions.

Anyone out there than can take a look at that, and the other stations nearby to give an opinion?

I do notice a couple of small quakes up in Big Lake, and a couple of small ones in the volcanoes, but I don't know what to say about the above posted graph.

I wonder if that could be from trains possibly. There is a ton in that area I'm pretty sure and it looks like its almost always there.

Well, I have tracked SMNR down, and have it, as well as all stations within a 50 mile radius, showing now in GEE. There is definitely something going on. What, I am not sure, but I am showing spikes as high as 24 MILLIMETERS/SEC/SEC

Now the question is, wtf is MM/s/s, and how does that translate to the usual mm/sec scale? I have seen this before on other stations, and have always wondered.

I do not know the conversion - are you sure they are different? excuse my lack of knowledge in this - my scattered brain would think mm/sec.scale abbreviated mm/s/s?

These instruments we are looking at are the upgrades from the old and they are just starting then out which is why sometimes we can not pull up the information - I found that if you refresh when it says not available or not found you can pull it up. They are working out the bugs. This may be a good time to learn while YS is resting as they are planning upgrades there as well.

Look at the top left corner. This shows it to be part of yesterday and most of today (UTC of course)

I do have to agree that 'This' is not a useful location. I have no idea where these stations are.

Edit: Sorry missed that - a bit superfluous now. I still have no idea where we are talking about however.

Little spikes 1:10 apart approx and another signal 2hrs apart approx. I am going to see if I can get a wave of it.

30 km NW of Mt. Rainer - 10:00 on an old fashion hand clock. Near Graham, WA - USA. That would be the second "This" .

Can anyone pull up seismo's that are working on Rainer - I can't - the old seismo's are not working and the new ones won't load even on refresh - maybe bad time for updates

Sound file coming up shortly but in the meantime

Some of the 'sound interference' marked. The are of the sound file is marked in purple. I will add the file in a few minutes. Someone said trains. Might well be.

OK, this is at about 40 times speed and is completely unfiltered.
14 secs - Sound
17 secs - Quake
28 secs - Sound
40 secs - Train??
49 secs - Sound
1:01 - Sound
1:13 - different sound
1:20 - sound and small quake
1.27 - quake

Et maintenant, here is the sound file (8Mb)

11 actually, and i agree doesn't look like a trend, but when you add in all the 4.5's and 4.7's that could have been 4.6's then it get's a little busier, and the locations are so varied as well, all within the last few days or so, just an observation I guess...

Yeah = Them - but, Puterman captured it above before They could wipe it :-).

Puterman, the problem area is the thick area below what you have highlighted. Almost, but much longer and thicker than the one on B208 I questioned - the one that sung and ancient song from the depths of the earth. In addition of course to what you do have highlighted
