Big thanks for that. Installed 3.6 and the new eQuake and all is working fine.

By the way to people thinking of going this route, you need to install Firefox 3.6 first and then the new eQuake from the link. FF will prevent it from loading, but just click on Allow. Restart FF again and eQuake will be there.

Glad it worked for ya

That's what I thought too when I looked up where the falklands are.

I check on RSOE now and then but I really rely 100% on USGS. Sometimes RSOE has wrong info.

they use a giant drill, what happens when they pump the earth for oil??? i mean they're taking a natural substance so whats going to fill the earth it when its gone??? we should stop nicking earth elements

Both maps seem to agree, but that is not Goose Green!

RSOE states 2,327 km (1.24 miles) of Goose Green Settlement - the position on the map agrees with the kilometres distance but the have got the mileage conversion screwed up. USGS distances look OK

By the way when they remove oil I believe they pump water in to take it's place. You will also find interesting stuff on ATS and Wikipedia about the abiotic creation of oil. It may not be such a finite resource as imagined, which also may explain why the reserves are always increasing.
