"Earth was not in the line of fire" It wasnt directed towards earth but it was a big one. Around the tenth is another sunspot facing earth (I dont think its anything to worry about right now)

Not a comment on posting solar stuff on this thread since there may be a connection but are you aware that there is a Solar Watch 2010 thread?

I wasn't until a few days ago.

I saw a thread on the latest filament yesterday but can't find it now. Good the CME was not facing earth.
Anyone here notice increased earthquake activity when CME's occur - any graphs available?

I was going to ask the same thing. Has anyone taken the time to cross reference sun activity with earthquakes anyway?
It would have to be over a decent period though, not just a few months, more like 10 years minimum.

Probably get the same result as the Moon/Earthquakes analysis, sometime they do some times they don't ( match up that is)

I went to edit the previous post with the details of the swarm I mentioned and got this ....

You have exceeded the maximum window of 4 hours allowed to edit your post.

WTF?
Well thats just BS, it was only 2 hours ago

So, sorry about the many posts lately, its not my fault, I could scrunch them down into one a day if the ATS controllers dumped that editing time restriction BS

anyway, heres the details of the Mt. Tihia swarm, it not a big one, but there is no further data since 1pm yesterday yet

The Map

apart from the first one, pretty much in the same area as the swarm of Nov 25th

edit:
looks like that was it for now, just had a look at RATZ station graph, nothing since the 2.399ML (RATZ is not far from the area, just across Waihi Bay on the eastern slopes of Mt, Whareroa, Nr Te Hape Bay, north of Kuratau village at -38.8686, 175.7711 )

You tell 'em muzzy, I do. I agree it is a very short time limit anyway and then you never ever get more than 3 hours because they are not capable of doing simple date maths.

Just a not to say nothing, nada, zilch at Katla and Grimsvotn both today. I will add that to the thread on it.

For the umpteenth time it is the frackin' fracking, despite what the geologists say! (Reasoning here is - it can't be the fracking as that means we may be stopped from doing it so, it is not the fracking, but we don't know what it is other than the fracking.)

Nothing to be getting excited about. Guy is an oil/gas shale extraction area.
