On Jan. 1, 1863, President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, declaring that slaves in rebel states were free.

Wikipedia: Emancipation Proclamation
The Emancipation Proclamation consists of two executive orders issued by United States President Abraham Lincoln during the American Civil War. The first one, issued September 22, 1862, declared the freedom of all slaves in any state of the Confederate States of America that did not return to Union control by January 1, 1863. The second order, issued January 1, 1863, named ten specific states where it would apply. Lincoln issued the Executive Order by his authority as "Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy" under Article II, section 2 of the United States Constitution.[1]
It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master... Ayn Rand

The ideas proposed for discussion in the OP are a psychic cancer meant to disrupt and twist the moral order of one's mind.
In other words, this is a dangerous thread and these ideas need to be summarily rejected as part of an affirmation of the unity of humanity and of the unlimited freedom that belongs to each and every human being ... no matter where they may be in the Cosmos.

Explanation: If slavery was legalized where you reside, would you buy a slave? Also how much would you be willing to pay for the slave?
Personal Disclosure: I'd never buy any slave for any price! The whole idea disgusts me but I would and could sell slaves as long as I didn't have to procure them for sale!
P.S. This thread was of course inspired by Jake Blues!
[to man in restaurant]
Jake: [fakes accent] How much for the little girl? How much for the women?
Father: What?
Jake: Your women. I want to buy your women. The little girl, your daughters... sell them to me. Sell me your children.
So do any members have the machismo to admit they would buy a slave and also what kind of $ value would be willing to pay for various individuals?
