I like to play spot the BS...here using the text from the OP alone we can see how spin and BS work..
Is this a deadline by the international community? Or Obama?
Well it depends, if you want to slam Obama you pretend it is Obama's deadline and then portray him as weak etc. etc. because the dealine isn't
met.
If you give a rats ass about the truth, you rightly explain that this was a deadline issued by the international community....specifically the
United Nations Nuclear Watchdog Group, The International Atomic Energy Authority (IAEA)...
Who is on the board of the IAEA? ...the ones who issued the December deadline?
Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Canada, China, Cuba, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana,
India, Iraq, Ireland, Japan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Romania, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain,
Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Uruguay (IAEA Board of Governors 2008–2009).

Hmmm...I wonder if each of those nations (whose representitives actually decided this deadline) are trying to pin Irans' failure to meet the deadline
on their own leaders?
Or is this kind of idiotic political BS specific to the USA?
Here see if you can spot the truth from the spin in this OP.
We can start with the Thread title..

As U.S. officials huddled with their European, Russian and Chinese counterparts in Germany on Sept. 2 to review the issue, Iran signaled that
it will indeed respond — by offering its own package of proposals to achieve a diplomatic resolution to the standoff. Western leaders at the
meeting in Germany urged Iran to agree to a meeting with Russia, China, the key European nations and the U.S. before Sept. 23.
WE CAN DEBATE IRAN AND US POLICY ETC...BUT LETS AT LEAST START THE DEBATE HONESTLY WITHOUT A LOAD OF BS AND POLITICAL SPIN.
