I did some long hard thinking about this. What would be so bad about the NWO. It is my understanding that the NWO would be a one world government. To me that means far less war, no fighting over land, eventual cooperation, shared knowledge between former enemies, etc.... If done right it could be a seemless, bloodless transition that would be welcomed. The only problem I can see is if they become overly oppressive. No free speech, military take over, etc...... But I really dont think any government as big as the NWO would have to be could survive without giving it's subject at least the semblence of freedom. But the main thing would be would I be able to provide for my family like or better then I do now. If the answer is yes then whats the big deal?

I don't think you will "catch hell" as there is nothing iherently 'bad' about a one world gov't. It is only a problem when all of that poaer is funneled into the hands of one person or group of people who do not have our best interests at heart. and believe me, THEY DON"T!!!

I see no reason to lable them bad.."yet" but could they really do any worse than the current clowns running the circus tent..

I would have to ask if the nations of this world are ready for centralized power. I don't believe that all people believe that NWO is the same thing. There are still countries that fight about communism. For a select few to attempt a coup and lead the rest of us into a bright new future, there has to be confidence in a plan. Otherrwise, I know I won't go quietly.

NEW world order. That means there is already a world order. What is that order? It's the rules that exist for all the hundreads of nations to coexist. Rules are dynamic. Naturally the order of today is not going to be the same as the order of tomorrow. One little change in the rules and you have a new world order.

For example, the world order before COP15 is old since it was updated after COP15. After COP15 there is a new world order. Little change, but a change nonetheless. The world order is constantly updating itself and it needs to. There are new players in the global economy who can affect it a lot more than before, like China, India and Brazil. Our president(Lula, from Brazil) is constantly saying that we need a NEW world order. One that takes into account the developing countries. And he already said that the version of New World Orther of United States is immature and is not gonna work.

New World Order is something at the tongue of every leader of every nation because all of them want to change the rules in their favor. So people need to step back and take a breather before associating the ILLUMINATI with every mention of a new world order on the news.

I dont think we can or should try to avoid progress. The moment we conquer space we will have to start looking at us as one planetary nation. That doesnt necessarily mean to have ONE president who rules over ALL country nations.

I dont see a Planetary Government trampling the sovereignity of the countries. The people would just not accept it. There would be revolt. I see each country still having their presidents and the President of the Planet would be more like a diplocatic figure than a world emperor.

But that's just me. So, no, you wont get bashed by me since I see a NWO as a natural process and constantly happening and a World Government as an innevitable consequence of our progress.

Cultural evolution is an inevitability. Ask the Romans. It is also inevitable that the world will soon become small enough that it will look for a significant change in power structure. As resources are depleted and the time ticks down, survival will mandate the 'order'.

Would you want only one company to choose for your cell phone service?
Would you want only one grocery store to buy your groceries from?
Would you want only one gas station where you can buy your gas?

Need I go on?
Monopolies of any kind are not good- be it health care providers, grocery stores or governments.

So, you look at a Global Government as an inherently bad thing because of a monopoly?
Heh, may I ask what the monoply would be on?

I mean you are tying Governance to economics, but are the two neccessarily related?
Maybe through taxes, I suppose.
But how is the taxation of the globe as a whole any more or less evil than the taxation of people individually through their countries of origin?

I said nothing about monopolies. Just because we would have an one world government does not mean that they would control everything. The only way an one world government would make it is to give everyone the same freedoms and it would have to be the freedoms of the most liberal country. Which despite our problems is the USA.

So by your way of thinking there should be more then one type of government in every state because the government is a monopoly

I say NWO because everyone knows what I mean. and yes we are in the works and have been for quite some time for an one world government, Its called the UN. But it failed. I do agree the the term NWO has some negitive assioated with it, but I have not seen anything dealing with the illuminati on this thread either. I will have to agree with you also with that this does seem to be our natural progression. But please change the world conqur, If we take that mentality to space we will have our asses handed to us

Agree with your perspective and will add that I find it very difficult to discuss the logistics of various hypothetical associations that we can't even quantify (TPTB, NWO, illuminati, etc.etc.).

We seem to use those terms toward any group that is controlling the world behind the scenes, and then the next moment identify them as various high politicians, wealthy, etc. The biggest problem I've had with this is imagining all the countries heads of state who are in apparent conflict with each other -- and at the same time, behind the scenes they are secretly in collusion for mutual world domination? Doesn't make sense.

I guess I just haven't woken TF up yet.

You do realize that all of the things you say would be improved were created by the exact same people who you are saying should be in charge, don't you? As far as it being welcomed, yes that feeling of yours was created by them as well.
