Venezuela blames U.S. for destabilizing Iran

news.xinhuanet.com

The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Venezuela rejects the destabilization attempts "promoted by the government of the United States against the government and people of Iran."

"Venezuela is surprised that a group of countries led by the North American Empire are echoing a campaign to divide and spread violence among Iranians, in contravention of the fundamental norms of peace, non-interference and respect for sovereignty," the foreign ministry said.

this story comes out of China's Xinhua news agency...

Understandably Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is one of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s closest allies in South America. Of course he too has been credited with destabilizing his region by arming and offering support to the Colombian Rebels

Well we don't need a China media to tell what Chavez is telling to understand what the US war machine complex is at it in Iran since Ahmadinejad’s re-election, the US American war machine is getting sloppy they no longer need to "cover up" much their so call cover up" operations, for destabilization purposes.

Hello DB, I would like to recommend to do some further investigation on this subject. First of all if you think FARC is being sponsored by Chavez I think you are very wrong. Were do you think the BLACK BUDGET'S money is coming from.

We have FARC in Columbia, here the coke comes from.
We have TALIBAN in Afghanistan, were almost all the heroin comes from.

We know Taliban is being created and controlled by CIA for fighting Russians and for making profit on heroin.
Is it far fetched to think the FARC is being created so that the USA must help Columbia to fight them and secretly distributing the coke to USA.

In my opinion Chavez is an hero.

I suggest you watch them both if you want to be informed

I think the same scenario is now being played in Iran.

Hugo Chavez would blame us if he woke up with Diarrhea too tho...

And besides even if this is all drug trade and oil crap, we are the ones that purchase all the junk, if you don't like us around find a more noble economic platform for your country...

In the end this is Pushers vs Addicts anyway, never really understand when people glorify the suppliers over the junkies, not saying we are any better, but when your into dirty business you expect dirty results and conflicts...

Everyone rails against us and what we do when involved in these situations and cries for these places like we are molesting children, but the reality is they are definitely no better on their end... We might be Crack addicts and doing wrong things to obtain the Crack, but it's too the people who essentially want to pimp us out in exchange for it...

I think he is pretty accurate in most of what he accuses/blames the US for. Even though the truth may hurt, it is still the truth.

It is alot more than just drug and oil crap. It is about controlling another countries resources and economy and returning very very little to the majority in that country. If the leaders of any of these countries decide that they want a fairer deal for their people, that leader will bear the brunt of the propoganda and black ops to destabalize and overthrow the government. I am sure that the majority of these countries would love to regain control of their agriculture and mineral rights. What is so un-noble about their economic platform? As far as the drugs are concerned I agree, but WE are the ones that made it an industry in their country. And on the same hand we wage a "war on drugs" that is obviously a farce. You realize that when the taliban controlled Afghanistan the cultivation of poppy was banned. Here is am interesting read on the Afghanistan and opium scam .

I am sure the majority of the people in these countries are not living as well as you or I. Doesn't the pusher usually make all the money? The truth of the matter is that the controlling parties in these countries are outside corporations (oil companies, agriculture, mining companies) I suspect that the owners of all these corporations are the only ones weeping in the rewards. It is definitely not the people of that nation. You would think that by owning all of these resources that the country would be wealthy, but they are not. Why is that?

Maybe it is well overdue that we check ourselves into detox.

IMO, I think that the majority of the world live in appaling conditions while in the west we live like kings and queens in comparrison. Sure we have poverty, but in comparison to the poverty we see in the majority of the world we couldn't even call it poverty anymore since we have social assistance programs, shelters, drug programs, soup kitchen's etc. Maybe the whole world just needs to balance out, but that would take stripping the 98% of the worlds wealth from the 2% that control it and disperse it more evenly. Democray is no better than Socialism or any other political ideology when it is corrupted at the root.

Now you people are just being silly... If the US really wanted to destabilize Iran all we'd have to do is give back all the weapons and arms we took away from the sāzmān-e mojāhedin-e khalq-e irān and let them go do their thing...

The PMOI's armed wing is, or was, called the National Liberation Army of Iran (NLA). AKA "MEK" Camp Fallujah in Iraq just happens to sit right next to FOB Dreamland and houses some captured 6000 MEK soldiers and over 2000 pieces of military equipment...including 19 British-made Chieftain tanks!!! All in all the coalition forces have detained some 14,000 MEK members there in Iraq and to be honest if we really want to raise a little hell with Iran all we'd have to do is give the MEK back their weapons and turn them lose....

FYI Tehran attempted to negotiate with Washington DC, proposing to withdraw military backing for Hamas and Hezbollah as well as give open access to their nuclear facilities in return for Western action in disbanding the PMOI... that offer was rejected by then Vice-President Dick Cheney and ever since then Iran has been very angry with the good ole USA...

Hugo Chavez is simply grandstanding with his statement ... period...
