The BBC and the Guardian are reporting that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard organised the kidnapping of Peter Moore and his four murdered British security guards. They even claim that they were held in Iran for part of their captivity before being executed.
If this turns out to be true then it's interesting stuff for sure. Makes one wonder how many kidnappings of contractors and IED attacks are orchestrated by Iran.

Makes one wonder too if they actually have any concrete evidence to back up the allegation, apart from the word of unnamed / anonymous sources and contacts.
With the way things are currently going, there is a big ramp up against Iran again. When the stories get trashed, the public doesn't get informed.

For instance, the big headlines about the Iranian nuclear trigger tests by Iran. Turns out to be yet more forged documents, but where was the headline retraction by The Times, pointing this out?
See, they plant a story to get peoples attention, then when it is debunked, they keep quiet about it. The job is done, the public are still under the impression that the original story was true, never seeing a retraction pointing out it was untrue.

Thus, after all the previous forged documents, hearsay and downright lies, we must be very careful about demanding actual proof before anyone goes off half cocked and wants us to go to war based on another pack of lies.

Very true. Loads of accusations by all sides at the moment as the campaign to ramp up tensions (oil prices?) gears up. At the same time I wouldn't be surprised if Iran was orchestrating attacks in Afghanistan and Iraq. They certainly have a habit of funding terror groups in the Middle East.

What is interesting to note is as the media shows how "hardline" Iran Govt. is, if they would have held the Briton in secret, would they actually let him go free so he can talk about Iran's involvement in public? Now that is thought provoking. So is Iran actually that hardline as MSM portrays or are they like not so hardline like US/UK govt. who abduct citizens illegally from other country and then let them go later?

Was thinking the same. Why would they release him if it implicates Iran, but who knows what the hostage takers end game is with all the stuff going on in Iran right now?
