Last night i got a copy of guardian and this is what found in the G2 supliment.

"Thousands of different chemicals are permitted to be used in perfume and they do not have to be listed on the product label.

About 2,600 chemicals are commonly used in perfume;

95% of chemicals used in perfumes and as fragrances in cosmetics are synthetic compounds derived from petroleum.

I heard a report on the BBC's world service a while back about the dangers from chemicals that are in household products. Some body hygiene products had D.D.T in them. God knows what # they are putting in our foods and in sweets aimed at kids all under the guise of being E numbers.
