O.K.

Heres something this might spice it up a little.

I read a book by a new ager who claimed enlightenment could be found by watching the matrix.

I followed his instructions and found I was able to "download" information. People thought I was psychic.

The problem was that I was "downloading" info via demons (which means hidden knowledge). The problem with demons is that they are unclean spirits also known as devils.

People from all over the place started calling me "Special" and "a spiritual teacher". I think satan had plans for me in his heirachy.

Luckily seeing as I had given my heart to Jesus, He got me out of it.

Id say that as long as you keep information flowing in and your intention towards it is pure then enlightenment is assured... or not.

The problem with demons is that they are "imaginary" !!.

Dude under normal circumstances any individual claiming these experiences would be best advised to get a check up from the neck up.

I am a "Christian" and I take a huge offense to your post. Have you ever read Proverbs? Sorry, but I took the read pill when I got saved. Unfortunately there are a lot of"Christians" who, like you who took the blue pill and are a prime example of why there are so many christian bashing threads. My personal belief is that the Matrix is satans kingdom. If you could possibly think for one moment as a beliver that God could do that to his people than why are you a christian at all. Might as well join up with satan, because I could not worship a God like that. Sure God does and doesn't do alot of things i don't agree with, but he does as promised, revel the truth to those who seek it.

Aside from the demons not being real part, I have to agree. Someone needs a head check, or at least learn a little bit about the God he supposedly follows, because somehow I don't think its mine.

Although I respect your views, I have to disagree with them. There are so many contradictions and inconsistencies with the interpretation of God and what He represents in modern religion. If you do believe in God as described by the major religions of today, then you have to accept the conclusion that God allowed Satan to exist, God allowed Satan to deceive, God allowed his creations the potential to suffer and cause suffering to others. God MUST have known that Free Will would lead to many of his creations experiencing suffering.

Think of it like this:

"Let's say I am a farmer and decide to build my own farm. I begin "creating" animals of all types until I am satisfied with my creations. I find that the different animals only interact with each other and make no effort to interact with other types of animals...I think you get the picture where I am going with this. So imagine one day I decide to put a fox in the same enclosed area with a chicken and a goat. The chicken is scared, but sees the goat eating grass and feels safe because he figures so will the fox. The chicken decides thus NOT to fly away out of the enclosure and moments later is pounced on and torn to bits by the fox.

As the creator, I do not feel remorse because I gave the chicken ample opportunity to leave the enclosure, but he chose to stay. Although I knew it was very likely the fox would murder the chicken, the fox made a decision and so did the chicken. Even though I was the one who pushed the hands of fate for the occasion to occur, I cannot be blamed for the actions of the fox because I gave both Free Will."

Not the best example, but I think you can see what I am trying to get at. God may be omni-X but He has no right judging his creations after allowing them to be subjected to doubt, suffering and evil.

Following Jesus sets you free, Jesus is the truth. The passage does not read "Then said morpheus"

Yes I do believe that. And I agree with you 99% But don't forget taking the red pill did bring about suffering.

God can't be everything and the author of everything and be all good, if he created evil.

God created Lucifer, the anointed cherub that covereth.

Lucifer the created being, used his free will to disobey God and became the devil.

Lucifer is the most perfect and awesome being ever created. But he is created. God, The Son and The Holy Spirit are not created beings and are therefore no comparison to lucifer.
