I know some of you love to paint the MSM as this monolithic group of propagandists but in this case you are way off base. The Haskells have been on every MSM outlet today telling what they saw at the check in counter and at least CNN had an interview with a woman who saw the man taping the incident.

I have one question about the alleged camera man. If he knew the attack was going to take place, why would he record it since if it was successful the evidence would have been destroyed in the explosion?

I don't believe that this scenerio was intended to go any further than it did.

It's possible the Haskells saw a different young black African go through the experience they related. Not enough information available to say as yet.

It is clear who this 23 year old Nigerian guy is and that he was radicalized from a young age, as early as 15. Seen as impressionable he was convinced it was the honourable thing to sacrifice himself exploding a plane over Detroit in the name of Jihad.

Even the CIA can't create a history of someone that goes back half a decade with family and first hand witnesses in half a dozen countries.

We have an important failed suicide bomber. Hopefully a lot of intelligence will be derived.

The CIA is not obliged to tip their hands so people on conspiracy sites will be satisfied. They never believe anything anyways.

Why don't we continue to keep an eye on the story, but also remember it is an active investigation now.

Think locally, if your house was robbed and the police had a suspect and some witnesses were talking to the police, do you want ALL that information out in the open so the other possible suspect are now in the know that they might be found out?

Not everything is a conspiracy, but then again, this is ATS and majority-wise, a conspiracy site.

Nice to know there's an analytical mind around instead of the usual freak out conspiracists.

What happened Christmas day can't be kept secret. It happened in a very public place with hundreds of eyewitnesses.

The intelligence agencies tracking a network have to move fast and try not to tip off accessories and facilitators.

My sense is this guy was being herded and supplied by pros but the handlers were junior league. These chemical mixtures have to be mixed in the exact ratios otherwise they go off too soon or don't work at all.

A botched operation but maybe some good leads will come out of it.

When I saw the video, something like that also came to my mind, from what the witness said about his actions and emotions seems like he was under some drugs, been brainwashed/mind controlled or he just has a really big mental problems with a lot of cold hate.

And also, Why they talking about using newer scanners so damn quickly like if it is was being planned to do so and using this event to push it out quickly, that sure will convince the people who now have fear to accept it to feel more "safer".

Any moron should be able to see this was an attempted terrorist attack and not some CIA/FBI/MOSSAD/MI6 plan.

This whole incident reaks of false flag operation with the intention of sudstantiating some military action by the Obama gangster regime.

After thinking why a person would video tape while all this comotion was going on made me think that the person behind the video camera may not have known that blowing up the plane was the mission. In fact, the video camera man could have also been lied to as part of the operation and was tasked to record what went down because he did not know what would transpire. While this is plausible, I tend to believe that the video man knew in advance that the bomber would not be able to explode and as such his job was to record. Only by knowing the bomb would not work in advance would substantiate the logic over why the video man followed a suicide bomber onto a plane if not to record and be a witness to the patsy being used.

If in fact the video man knew that bomb would not work in advance then this whole thing would then make the young terrorist crotch bomber a "PATSY" for some operation he was pulled into without knowing what was really going to take place. I would agree that anyone charged with videotaping would have died in any in flight explosion and as such if leads me to conclude that the video man was either also an uninformed patsy or was informed enough to know his life would not be in danger. The whole operation would then be a false flag operation carried out in order to have someone to charge with terror.

The fact that the Indian man did all the talking makes it appear as if his role was direct handler with crotch bomber. The mission from the Indian mans perspective was to get him on board with no documentation.

Afterwards while on board the young terrorist would then detonate at some predetermined point of the flight or upon landing. Since the final moments of this attack did not did not detonate the bomb and since there was no final explosion, we are left to conclude that either the bomb was set to be intentionally faulty as the bomber attempted to detonate so that it would not detonate but still be enough to create an international incident that could be defined as terrorism. It is the aftermath that just has too many holes and as such there is more to this story that needs to be known and or uncovered.

In this way, the video man would be safe because he already knows the bomb will not explode and yet the deed would have been attempted and the panic and response towards the bomber would have already been taken. It just appears that the bomb was not really meant to go off and that makes the carrier a "PATSY" who was video taped carrying out a crime which could and probably will be used against him as evidence which is needed to convict him with a terrorist crime later. It is the attempted explosion that is the only act needed to allow Obama to reataliate against Sadam Hussein....oh, I forget, weve already run that drill, this is about Yemin and the Suddan and such so whatever covert reasons Obama has for this failed terrorist action is sure going a long way to distract from the anger over the health bill and to draw attention away from internal issues that are proving Obama the failure he repeatedly shows us to be. Regardless the reason this terror act is a false flag.

I just think the FBI or the intelligence agencies are not going to do anything meaningful if indeed this was an inside job. In fact it would be there role to undermine a real investigation and as such we should continue to qustion why surveillance footage from Amsterdam and within the airlines has not been released unless that footage shows and or proves that this whole incident and the patsy in question is nothing but a player in some operation being run by CIA intelligence which then will be investigated by the same agencies to prove the patsy did it. Only in this fashion can those criminal members withing the FBI and intelligence agencies remain hidden.

Aeons and I were trying to form a percentage of the *SNIP* who make up those on ATS who want to spin it into some wild fantasy just to see how it would play out once the big fireworks start. I figure like the presidential vote it's about 50/50. There will be those who expect welfare and the government to fix everything, these will be the same people who had no faith in the government and came up with stupid conspiracy theories. Katrina is the prime example. Hello, there's a hurricane coming, you are going to die, oh the government is lying to us to make us move out of our homes, oh sheit my house is underwater, the government screwed us. um, huh? I work in counter-terrorism education and have worked with many professionals from many agencies, yes.

It's quite amazing to have to deal with those who are skeptical but I completely understand. Education is important for many reasons, to eliminate fear and insecurity, to inform of current facts, to put knowledge in the minds of those who are under-educated and to prepare for the future. When people don't have the knowledge they need they will blame entities that aren't responsible, they will reach into their minds and pull out anything to rationalize their emotion rather than gaining knowledge they need to survive. It's a defense mechanism, and the enemy counts on our stupidity to conquer us.

So, if you or anyone you know is a skeptic, I suggest stopping the nonsense mkultra/CIA and other theories that make you all look foolish. Instead please understand that Islam has a distince 7 phase plan to reform the Caliphate which includes a dozen simultaneous attacks in the US in 2010. This Christmas day incident is only the beginning of more events to take place and some will succeed. It would be smart to prepare now.

If the CIA wanted us all dead, we all would be dead. The CIA is on our side.
But there are foreign agencies equalivant to the CIA like the ISI and AQ who do want to kill us and mind control us. The CIA are the good guys... who are defending us and killing the bad guys. And the tactics they use are pretty freeking good too.
