And I thank you for your answers...

With all do respect to your answers, and addendum, you talk as if those pieces of paper that were completely created by man, not given to us by our Creator, are now ingrained in stone, and that is simply not true. Only our Bill of Rights is ingrained in Stone, the rest can be changed by The People… Let alone, the answer you claim the government would give for murdering its citizens. Those answers might work in a B rated movie, or within a third rate Government like those countries you mentioned, but those disgusting answers will not work in the first world.

Second, by having the people standup in every state, that is exactly what is happening. But just like our founding fathers, you cannot attack the whole system at once. You pick one or two entities and point out all their abuses and focus all our disgust onto them. To do otherwise and you cannot bring people together, history teaches that in the most painful ways. However history also teaches successes, and that is, demands must be focused... In our case its our Federal Government and its blatant abuses, and how Congress continues to throw We The People under the bus.

And lastly, to touch a little more on my first point.

Elites are only elites because others that came before them gave them those positions. Yes that is a road that goes back for many miles, however, that road needs We The People to keep it moving forward. What they haven't realized yet, and what this movement is going to throw in their faces. That road has reached a dead end, and they did it to themselves. As our nation is learning more and more every day, The People are so over it. So, even though those Elites have money, their power is an illusion. We The People just need to walk through that illusion. And that is what that speech, and my subsequent speeches/letters will help to teach.

I just hope this Constitutional Army never happens and i also hope your kind of people NEVER run the Government ..

Amen. I agreed with the Constitutional Army idea until it became more than supporting and defending the Constitution. We don't need to add a bunch of little politburos (by whatever name you want to call them) ruling over us.

They won't be ruling over John Q Public. But, if you work for government, who gives a damn what you want. You will do as you are told. If you don't work for the government, then you have nothing to worry about. Unless you own/work for a Corporation and trick people into giving you money you know full well is a scam. Or if your business causes some kind of environmental damage, and hurts citizens (or not), and you tried to cover it up. If you don't do those things, and you are not a government employee then you have nothing to fear, because the Law of 13 doesn't rule over the people one iota, they watch those who could hurt us, or take from us, or abuse us. (the word 'you' is being used in the general and not personal.)

However, if even after learning from what is mentioned above and you still don't like that idea, then we have to start talking about what we need to do to FIX this country, and stop telling each other what we can't do or simply what we don't like. We've done that long enough and look where we are. We gotta fix this country, and if the Law of 13 doesn't seem like a good idea to you, then what is your idea(s)?

Only, in time, all men (and women) succumb to greed. You'll need a "jury" to oversee the Law of 13.

The United States Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation are all an American needs. The United States Constitution should be thrown out. Treaty in the United States Constitution, that one word, is the downfall of America since joining the United Nations charter (treaty), NATO (treaty), WTO (treaty), etc

Treaty is the downfall of America because the United States Constitution is based more on the Bank of England and Parliament than it is on individual freedom and states powers.

I strongly disagree with the concept that the Constitution needs to be thrown out, strongly! The Constitution simply needs to be followed, especially the Bill of Rights, most importantly the 10th Amendment. Right now our Federal Government and those in Congress don't give a damn about the Constitution, they even call us who love the Constitution terrorists just for loving the Constitution. That is an OUTRAGE, they put us on the same page as those bastards who attacked this country on 9/11... That is an OUTRAGE!!! We The People need to regain control of our out of control government, we must, or the chains of slavery will be upon us. We are almost there, but we still have time to turn this around. We just need, no, we must come together and demand our government stop all the abuse.

Regarding the Law Of 13. I addressed that thought earlier, however, the Law of 13 only serves two and half years. That concept was written that way on purpose. And the next Law of 13 can sit in judgment of the Law of 13 that came before them, or another Law of 13 could be created whose only purpose is to oversee the Law of 13s, that too was mentioned in the OT'.

I was just talking with a friend the other day about the stupidity of Manifestos, and here is a perfect example. This is a perfect plan, until you figure real people into it. So you can't get people to vote but people are going to have to drag themselves away from the TV to memorize ever facet of government business for these juries? People don't serve on Juries that only last a week as it is, you're going to make them serve for 2 years? And there are so many terms I may agree with (laws must be "commonsense") but that the devil is in the details.

There is no such thing as a perfect system, the more cleverly you design it, the faster it collapses in on itself. The only thing that can save us is --

1- The desire of citizens to get involved in government, especially voting but also calling legislators and helping the candidates you like during elections (if enough people did this it would cancel out the big money players, since we don't, the money wins).

2- The willingness to compromise, because too many people sulk away when they don't get a perfect government and plot manifestos, allowing things to slide downhill faster.

Isn't it ironic, that I too was talking with a friend the other day and he said everyone has a reason for why things are bad, but no one is coming up with ideas to fix those problems. I said, that aint entirely accurate, there are places all over the net were people are bringing up IDEAS, that are subject to discussion when they are placed on the Internet... Kinda like this thread, its not policy, it was placed on the net to talk about... So he then read this letter/speech and said he loved it. Hmm, ideas help spawn a real direction forward, while only talking about what people did wrong, keeps us looking backwards. Just sayin!

[1) If you begin organizing on a state level, especially within those states who have either already declared or are willing to declare sovereignty from our Federal government, you might succeed in getting something going.
2) Any militia would have to be willing to carry arms and be prepared to use them if the time came. You can't be "politically correct" or expect Chicago style mobsters to play "nice". You have to be prepared to play by their rules and be better at it.
3) With regard to the possibility of our military being used against us here at home by the current Usurper-in-Chief, that won't happen. They don't trust him and they don't see him as being qualified for the office on any level. I don't seriously think it would take much to have our military turn on him if it came down to it, especially after the way he handled Ft. Hood.
4) Unfortunately, I don't see any way to avoid a civil war here again in some form and it won't surprise me if there is an attempt made to suspend the upcoming 2010 elections by declaring some trumped up state of emergency. That will be the flash point in my opinion.

Hi Charles. I agree that the Constitution is generally good how it is, but the one thing that does open the door for all the abuses is the article that allows treaties to be made that trump state laws. While it is argued by some that no law or treaty can be made that violates the Constitution, there are others who interpret the wording in the Constitution to mean that the law of the land is the combination of the Constitution, the Laws, and Treaties, and that all states must come under those three things.

I don't think the Constitution needs to be thrown out either, but only that it needs to be amended to clarify that one issue of treaties, since that is how these guys in Washington have been circumventing the Constitution...by making treaties.

Though I would agree in those states were sovereignty has already been declared or is waiting for the legislature to pass that declaration, this movement can gain great momentum. I also believe in order for this movement to be successful people in every state in the Union need to come forward. If its only in those states mentioned above, then it will be easy for those who want government forcing their will onto to people to claim, people just hate the fact a black man runs the country. We have seen that disgusting nonsense thousands of times already here on ATS alone, let alone that disgusting statement being made by the same person who apologize for his racist comments yesterday. Which is absolutely typical of that ‘keep'em slaves’ mentality that pervades in every facet of the communist/socialist movement.

2) Any militia would have to be willing to carry arms and be prepared to use them if the time came. You can't be "politically correct" or expect Chicago style mobsters to play "nice". You have to be prepared to play by their rules and be better at it.

First, let me make this clear, I believe PC or political correctness is used by people who are afraid of grownup conversations or an ass whipping. I refuse to be politically correct about anything. I say it the way I mean it, and if you don't like it, tough... During grownup conversations sometimes you are going to hear things you don't like. This is my life and you aint ever gonna shut me down. That's what I say about PC.

Regarding your above quote... Walking unarmed has nothing what so ever to do with being politically correct, and has everything to do with opening peoples eyes. Have we really fallen so low that there is truly only a handful of Americans who regret that they only have but one life to give for their country? Standing up unarmed with the fear of violence from our government hanging over our heads is the epitome of courage and commitment. Grabbing a gun to show force means we have already lost. Standing united knowing we could be killed or viciously beaten means we can never lose. That’s not political correctness, that’s political power!

Hood.

I believe there is great truth in what you just wrote, but that is something we cannot count on completely. They could put people on the other side to fire upon the military, to guarantee they follow the orders to attack. So though I agree, history shows that is not always the case, or that the military will use extreme tactics to force engagements. One needs to look no further then the Christmas Truce of WWI to see what military commanders are willing to do to force conflicts... or how the Spanish American War and the Vietnam wars were started just to name a few. Or what was done to World War 1 veterans who only showed up in Washington to get what they were promised. They were unarmed and the military killed hundreds.

Those lessons from history are never to far from my thoughts. That is why it must be a national movement in all states. If that can be accomplished then the federal government will already know they lose. And the military will know the people are not on the side of the government... I believe it is threads like this one that are happening all over the net and this country that has forced Congress to come to their senses. We will see what they actually do... But I am prepared to quit my job and become a full time activist until the government relents... if they continue to try and enslave the people! And I got a big mouth!

4) Unfortunately, I don't see any way to avoid a civil war here again in some form and it won't surprise me if there is an attempt made to suspend the upcoming 2010 elections by declaring some trumped up state of emergency. That will be the flash point in my opinion.

I don’t agree with that just yet. I see several options available without using violence. We just need to get people organized… if that is accomplished, especially in this year, so much can change in such a short time. But we need people to wake up and stand up. We need people brought into this because this movement isn't moving fast enough, we need to get loud and doing everything possible to force a massive serious effort forward.. If that can be brought forward, then civil war will move further and further away from reality as We The People relearn we are the true power as we demand... and then get... all our freedoms back.

If there is something that you think needs improvement, then absolutely, lets talk about it. Regarding what it mentioned above... how about creating an amendment that states no treaty can be entered that violates the Constitution in any way shape or form. Or... no treaty can be entered into with any country, government, or entity that does not respect basic human rights. And that no treaty can be agreed to that violates the Constitution. In order for things to move forward to freedom, we must keep pushing forward instead of looking backward at what was wrong, we must move forward with answers... At least that's how I see it!
