Earthquake cell to the SE released during the night. Two small earthquakes struck 15 and 17 miles to the east of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The earthquake cell to the SE was related to the region E of Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma that just had the earthquakes. It shows that linked areas can be much closer that hundreds to thousands of miles away; they can in fact be within 100 miles as has been shown several times in the past. These quakes are man made quakes and they differ from natural earthquakes in the fact that they don't have the natural earthquake cycle at the nearby associated earthquake cells that surround the earthquake cell that will quake. The surrounding earthquake cells can and do have less pressure than the earthquake cell that quakes. The surrounding earthquake cells are unstable and not cyclic in nature as natural earthquake cells are.

A signal is detected almost straight south of this location, but about 2-3 degrees to the east of true south. Haven't checked for location or distance; I have other things to do; selling some cattle tomorrow morning. An imaginary line would run from here through Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, somewhere along that line is the location of the signal being detected and visually seen in the direction described above. Signal is extremely weak in background radiation range.

The signal has shifted and is now directly to the south of this location, but 2-3 degrees to the west of an imaginary line running straight south, heading towards Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Signal is extremely weak background radiation.

I just checked the piezo-seismic system at the Burrton location and its registering a signal about 10 degrees east of true south right now; proving that earthquakes are still detectable hours after they strike. This one is still detectable as of right now approximately 8.5 hours after it struck. The longest has still been 1.5 days before it finally settled back into place. This proves that a person using a mobile piezo-seismic system could still go and pinpoint the epicenter and hypocenter and make gps readings at distant points from the earthquake in order to map it's magnitude. This is not the case for all earthquakes though.

Same direction at 12 AM in the morning. Background radiation extremely weak still. Expecting signal to end by 7:44PM this evening as the subsurface returns to normal, and/or it will shift to a different directional position.

so basicly the target is the west coast, and since baja didnt set it off they are going from a different direction, and we can monitor this by watching the pressure over near oklahoma?

pressure + no quakes in Oklahoma = get the hell out of cali?

I'm only studying earthquakes in Oklahoma, I really don't care about earthquakes out in California right now.

There will be "NO" large earthquake in California for the next 3-4 days though, if that is what you need to hear; simply because this earthquake actually "struck" in Oklahoma instead of releasing like the one before it did.

The one before it released without quaking, and if we look at a map about 4 days later off the coast of Oregon was this baby.

This particular earthquake that I'm studying in Oklahoma has already quaked in Oklahoma. I'm only watching this one right now to see how long it takes for the ground to settle back into place; or how long its detectable after it quaked. In this particular case the ground finally settled back into place sometime between 4:44 PM and 5 PM today. Which means it was detectable and/or mappable for 1.5 days, minus about 2 hours; or about 33.5-34 hours after the earthquake to place. Signal is gone.

People are safe in California for the next three days.

It will be interesting to see if the next earthquake cell that releases without quaking that is detected from SSE or about 10-15 degrees east of straight south will end up with another large earthquake striking 3-4 days later in the California/Oregon region. Or, one day after the release down near Mexico City, or a Central American country. Or, if no larger earthquake will strike in any of those regions. We shall wait and for such an earthquake cell to be detected in the SSE direction or 10-15 degrees east of straight south from here, and see what happens within the next 4 days after it releases without quaking.

For now, people are safe in Cali; as you call it.

New earthquake struck in same area, but magnitude of new earthquake is M2.5 at 173 miles distance. Overlapped by the last earthquake which was an M3.1 in the same area. New earthquake is actually detectable from Burrton still at this time, but unlike the other larger earthquakes from that region, the refraction radiation that can be seen from here is fading in and out and it is extremely faint; it,s also only about 10 inches across, whereas the others are usually 4-6 feet across. In other words the width of the radiation and distance can also be used in some cases to determine magnitude also. Interesting.... maximum distance was supposed to be 10 times magnitude minus 100, or in this case; M2.5 times 100 minus 100 equals a maximum distance of 150 miles. This detection was 23 miles beyond that, but extremely faint, fading in and out, about 10 inches wide at top of east half door (centered in the east half door at the top, for future direction reference).

Distance to doorway from optics is 15' 3''.

Viewable area across of the radiation penetrating through steel and wooden walls is 10''.

The centerline of the radiation penetrating through steel and wooden walls is 21" to the East from being exactly straight South from the optics being located 15' 3'' to the North.

This weak radiation from the M2.5 earthquake is still viewable at 2:12 PM today, after it struck at 8:11 PM last night. Expecting it to disappear before 36 hours passes.

Today I watched twice as a giant wave of radiation passed by this location today from the south. I must be on the very edge of its existance because the wave actually stops right on the north side of the piezo-seismic system and then recedes back to the south from where it came from. The wave is barely detectable in the back ground radiation zone of detection, but gets into the 1st range at its peak pressure. What is so strange about this wave is that it comes in as a solid wave and lasts for about 12 minutes.

Today I have the piezo-seismic set up in the second position which means that the last earthquake had the following data from the second piezo-seismic system location.

M2.5 hit approximately 173 miles away earthquake radiation data is/was:
radiation detectable 13 feet directly to the south, then over
21 inches to the east was the center of the radiation
10 inches wide was the radiation, or 5" on both sides of the center


todays measurements of new radiation passing through steel and wooden walls are:

radiation detectable 13 feet directly to the south, then over
51 inches to the east is the center of the radiation
28 inches wide is the radiation, or 14" on both sides of the center

While watching this radiation penetrating the south walls today the waves struck and everything to the south of the piezoseimic system was engulfed in the waves, but just to the north about 10 feet - the wave ended, before retreating. Interesting, I've never seen this occur before.

In Fort Worth, Texas today.

Visual radiation detection direction of an earthquake cell epicenter is to the SW of 5033 Keating, Fort Worth, Texas and is in the direction of Lake Fort Worth. The radiation penetrates the SW wall of the second story of this home. The background radiation is very weak, distance unknown.

Today I'm back at Burrton, Kansas. Today there is a signal coming from a completely different direction. There was no signals detectable in this area when I arrived home yesterday evening when I looked at the piezoseismic chart.

Today there is a signal coming from the NNE. The signal is in the very low background radiation area of detection; meaning the signal is not from a nearby source. I looked at a map and the signal runs along an imaginary line from the Burrton, Kansas location towards Des Moines, Iowa and maybe beyond. I haven't gone to check the distance/location/depth or the magnitude of this signal. Just watching it from here, Burrton. One must wait for the 24 hour period to go by, before one gets interested in this earthquake cell, because the signal could be gone at 24 hours.

Its cold and wet outside right now. In most of northern Kansas it's raining or misting and in the upper 50s for temperature.

Checking on timing, to see if there are any correlations between earthquake cell releases in the Kansas USA region and the striking of large earthquakes in the distant regions of Central and South America (not expecting there to be any correlation, but just checking to make sure I'm not overlooking anything):

Release took place between 1PM May 21 and Noon May 22.
M5.9 struck Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 05:46:53 PM at Peru, South America epicenter (3,900 miles).
M6.5 struck Monday, May 24, 2010 at 11:18:29 AM at Brazil, South America epicenter (3,525 miles).

The M5.9 earthquake struck in PERU soon after the release in Kansas, exact timing differential unknown. Timing differential is somewhere between:
28 hours and 46 minutes; and
51 hours 46 minutes.
(Figures reduced by 1 hour due to difference of 1 hour in time zones between Kansas and Peru).

The M6.5 earthquake struck in BRAZIL soon after the release in Kansas, exact timing differential unknown. Timing differential is somewhere between:
46 hours and 42 minutes; and
70 hours and 42 minutes.

An M2.4 earthquake struck to the south in Oklahoma. The magnitude was too small for that distance, absolutely no detection of it from this distance, background radiation was extremely low during this period of time at Burrton piezoseismic station.

Distance from Burrton seismic station to epicenter was 173 miles for the M2.4 earthquake.

Two earthquakes (M7.2, M6.4) struck May 27th off the coast of Australia along the Ring of Fire on May 27.

I'll be comparing the timing of when these earthquakes struck compared to releases that were dected beforehand.

These two earthquakes were not detectable from Burrton, Ks.

Watched fast train pass by tonight. Visual detection of the train occurred on the train, but not the top 1/6th of the train.
