I had the same problem. Is it freezing outside?
If so, check your condensation pipe (if you have one, my furnace is gas). You should have a pipe that always drips water outside the house that is
connected to your furnace. If the water in that pipe freezes solid it will not be able to evacuate the condensation. Once the furnace picks up
moisture inside of it, it will stop generating heat.
I took a hairdryer to my condensation pipe and cleared it out. Once cleared, it worked like a champ.
