Ridley Scott to direct "Alien" Prequel

Really looking forward to this one. Provided a link below with abit more information. I think some of you were hoping for this.

Also quite afew people are hoping that the story will involve the Space Jockeys. Although the exact storyline is unknown at the moment, Jon Spaihts has been hired to write the prequel. Ridley Scott spoke about the movie in October 2009 (think the OP provided a link to that) and said that the prequel will take place 30 years prior to Alien. It was implied that the film won’t take place on LV-426 or involve the Space Jockeys.
