first natural explanation that comes to mind is some sort of cloud. But it looks really out of place and appears to be lower than a cloud normally is (including wall clouds). Look at the sharp angle it ends with on the left. Maybe it is an explosion of some sort? Whatever it is it looks freaking awesome.

wow at first glanced it looked like something had blown up.
But i think it's a branch from a tree right in front of the camera when that image was taken.

If you zoom in on the car making a right hand turn into a gated entrance, then scroll with arrows up to the sky, it definitely looks like it was planted in the pic. I am no expert on photography, but that's what it looks like to me. Someone playing a joke maybe? Why plant this image?

It's a small tree branch that was caught on the camera dome for three shots and then it was removed/fell off.

99.99999999% Sure.

That looks just like a pine branch to me too.
Is it possible to focus so close and so far away at the same time?
Perhaps the lense used makes it possible.

Looks cool though.

if thats a pine branch on the camera lens why is it in the sky and wouldn't it actually look kinda like a pine tree branch come on guys we can come up with something better than that. im not saying its anything amazing but its definitely something cooler that a pine tree branch haha

it is something on the camera dome, if you go under the bridge, it is still there, and in front of the lamp post just before the bridge, so yeah i think its a twig or something because its on quite a few frames.

The pine tree twig theory is precisely where I was inclined. It does indeed look exactly that, a pine tree twig caught on the camera housing.

I think the next question should be to offer that we're all in agreement and can happily conclude our findings?

My immediate reaction was that it was a superimposed object. It looks extremely similar to the Shuttle Challenger explosion. The 'branch' off the main 'trunk' is very close.

So for the poster who said "It's a Russian rocket" - I think you're on the money!

Mama Mia, that's some a long strand of a burnt spaghetti!

Probably something in the Google SpyCam mobile, it follows the shot no matter where the vehicle travels.
