Bombs placed infront of three banks in the Mexican town of Jiutepec explode, causing significant damage to the buildings but no injuries or fatalities. The bombs were placed by a group calling itself the Comando Jaramillista Morelense 23 de Mayo outside of the Banamex, BBVA-Bancomer and Santander Serfin banks. Explosives left outside a HSBC bank did not go off. The group opposes President Vicente Fox and his "neoliberal counter-reforms".
