You have been misled by sensationalists.
No body wants to kill Christians.
But many would like to provide better education for them.

I know I'm going to get slammed for saying it like this, but...

I think back to hearing Christians bash gays. Christian leaders would say that it's OK to ban gay marriage, discriminate against gays for certain jobs, etc. etc. etc. They justified themselves by saying that being gay was a lifestyle choice. No one was born gay, they chose to become gay at some point in their life.

Well, I don't know if being gay is a lifestyle choice or a matter of genetics, but I do know that no one is born Christian. It's is definately a lifestyle choice. So, by Christian's own logic, it's OK to discriminate against them. Maybe this will give Christian leaders pause to reconsider their attitudes towards others.

So basically...

*Warning, extreme sarcasm alert*

Rapists, child molesters, thieves, murderers... None of them were born that way, it was a lifestyle choice, so it's OK. We need to stop discriminating against them by criminalizing their lifestyles. And... how dare Christians share with others the meaning of life, and the free gift of salvation offered by the Creator of the universe. I am more worried about them sharing their faith with me, as opposed to the above listed members of our society.

Serously?

I can't imagine why anyone would persecute someone who goes around telling others that it they don't believe Jesus is the son of God they will go to hell.
All while basing these claims on faith, without any shred of factual evidence. If there were, then faith would not be nessecary.

Oh and as far as claiming the crusades are ancient history, thus negating there relevence is just plain stupid. Jesus was supposedly here long before that so does that make him ancient and not worth mentioning?

You can't pick and choose what points you decide are relevent simply because it goes against your point.

Then again, that seems to be the Christian anthem. If it validates my point I'll accept it and if it doesn't then it's either not relevent or a tool of satan

Objectivity and Christianity are not friends.

some one mentions turn the cheek but time has come to defend Gods presence in 2009 and beyond.
The fact is the world is descending even worse everyday, with social decline..
can this be directly link to the politically correctness church having more influence? where smacking kids is bad, free speech is frowned on, decadence greed and gluttony is rife, and the basic family / community unit has disintegrated to dust...where 'main stream' has walked away from Biblical virtues, and left God out of loop.

The 'ME, MYSELF and I' god is now the all mighty and considering how the world has been tracking over the last few decades, it's time Christians STOP turning the cheek to abominations that seek to destroy. I dont mean we become militant or aggressive or hateful, but it is TIME we stand in the gap and stand for righteousness.
Even Jesus was angered at the market place in the temple.....He was short with the religious Pharisees.
When next they try and erode Christmas by removing the carols that mention Jesus or we have a Jesus-less Easter, or we are told it's not ok to mention the bible or God or to have a biblical point of view say NO I wont stand for it.
Next time you see homosexuals wanting to get married say no
Next time you see some gangstar rap hero and his hoe's on tv say no that is un-acceptable. Porn is un-acceptable, greed is unacceptable, cheating on you wife/husband is unacceptable...having children roam free at night is unacceptable children swearing and hitting teachers is not on, cops that tazer deaf people/children or the elderly is not on...for GODS sake make a voice and take a STAND. If there is some obnoxious atheist spewing evil and hate take a stand.
I am sick of acceptance of wrong so as not to upset some, but the line is drawn...
To the naysayers and perpetrators of any anti God behavior I wont sit quiet any longer....
I dont accept your views and your behavior....it is wrong!
In saying that ...I do accept you and have no malice or hatered towards you rather the reverse...

Hate the sin but not the person. but dont let the 'turn the cheek' apathy continue any longer, the road is a dark one if the example of the last few decades is any guide.

The Bible tells how Christian persecution will come about and why, it will happen and does happen, history shows it will always be like this, but now the world is global and the agenda could not be more simple in erasing the memory of the Bible and Christ, already we have the 1.2 Billion Muslims who deny them and would love to kill a Muslim converted to Christianity, then we have 2 billion Chinese who cannot have a religious freedom, then another Billion in India who along with the triangle of hate and large numbers squeeze out the minority Christian populace.

Where in the Bible does it say this? I'll match quote for quote if you like. I was never a slouch during my studies.

Also, you seem to be fear mongering without any reason. You don't *know* that all of these non-Christians want to kill these converted Christians. You equally seem as dense to the fact that the Christian minority in India, and other Asian countries, is a minority for a reason (they have their own religions, some with multiple gods, some with only a figurehead/avatar).

You seem, on the whole, just wanting to spout fear and ignorance not only of Christianity (which I, and others like me, feel is worse than simply hating and opposing Christ). I believe that people like you do more damage, more harm to Christianity than any Muslim could ever do.

I recommend you learn to cite the word of God without fear, and with reason, with knowing. We have enough ignorant Christians in the world. We also have enough fear and hate.

Please stop what you're doing, ask questions of everything, learn- really *learn* what the word of God says, and stop using the entire religion as a weapon. You reek of ignorance, and that upsets me.

Being in the South I encounter this near daily, but being what I am I do not try to change them. Understanding isn't for everyone: you must desire it, you must seek it out.

evidence?
The bible has been proven over and over and over again...

AD and BC
Big bang
The great flood and Noah
Adam and Eve and the interception by the serpent
Abraham
Jesus
Giants
Israel
Sowing and reaping
DNA
etc etc

The list can go on and on and add to the list BUT the bible can provide answers over and over again....
Not bad for a book written by some scammer thousand and thousands of years before science was even invented...
Science the thing invented by man can still not compete with the bible, no mater how hard you try and disprove it.

It explains not only history of the earth but also explains some of the more basic inner workings of the universe.

Now you do me a favor.....prove the bible wrong.........

You claim not a scrape of evidence...how much evidence would you accept??

What year is it? 2009? ad or bc....this guy called Jesus that even all the other religions believe lived.... change the worlds time line...and people like the dude on the 1st page still think he is imaginary...

Well, it seems to me that the extreme religious right is actually playing a large part in "ringing in " the NWO.
Bush and his son puppet are both deeply religious and they both have spoken of a new world order on many occasions.

and when you wrote "Of course but it does not mean Muslims like Christians either, they are being oppressed or even stopped in their tracks before they even get a chance to become free thinking Christians. "
I had to step back.

These other two threads, Americans being Wiped Out so as Chinese can Move in, US won't stop Israeli strike on Iran: Obama , a strange coincidence. Perhaps the copenhagen summit fails to contain china and they're getting ready for plan b.

I would suggest that you may have been a slouch during your studies..
And rather than allow you to cut and past your way to an imagined victory...please explain... now in your own words
How is telling the truth fear mongering?

You equally seem as dense to the fact that the Christian minority in India, and some other Asian countries have been the targets of regular church bombings massacres....These innocent people that happen to be believers in Christ and doing nothing more than sitting in a building.

If anyone thinks for a second that any non-muslim is welcome in most islamic countries and that your western ideals christian or not will be even tolerated in these states is naive...
Canings, wiping, stoning...jail and death is common place and that is for minor infractions...

All these people that wear shirts in favor of the Tibetans yet turn a blind eye and even mock, these marginalized persecuted Christians in equally oppressive states....

uh, yes. Christians from all over the planet emailed the moron and told him they stood behind all his statements and actions concerning this, and we were electing him to begin the new Crusades. You've seen through us.

None of that list you gave means anything except perhaps in your own deluded mind. The bible has never been "proven". In fact since you listed the great flood as proof show us the evidence for a worldwide flood. There isnt any. Science has shown evidence for a localized flood. Nothing more.

Prove the bible wrong? Its your bible and your claim that its correct, YOU HAVE TO PROVE IT RIGHT, we dont have to prove it wrong. It has never explained the workings of the universe or the history of Earth. Jesus didnt change the timeline, people like you did.

Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 dont even come close to matching up. If the first two books cant agree with each other then not only is it not divinely inspired but there is no way it can be correct.

Now go look at the xmas tree you put up that god specifically said not to, open your presents on the 25th that Jesus said to give away and keep calling yourself a literate xtian.

No it was xtians who elected him and then even re-elected him giving him his so called "mandate" to do whatever he wanted. I heard not one xtian turn the other cheek after 9/11. Instead you all cried for the death of Muslims like the war mongering people you really are instead of the jesus hippies you like to think of yourself as.

I believe he asked for some hard evidence in the form of quotes from the bible not your opinion on his studies.

How is telling the truth fear mongering?

Literally nothing you said has been truthful thus far. Literally. Nothing.

If anyone thinks for a second that any non-muslim is welcome in most islamic countries and that your western ideals christian or not will be even tolerated in these states is naive...

Stoning is a punishment featured prominently in the old testament. You should have no problem with that. Jesus DID SAY "I come not to change the old laws" (ie old testament laws).

Death for a xtian should be, as long as its not suicide, perfectly ok because then you get to go to heaven! Right?

All these people that wear shirts in favor of the Tibetans yet turn a blind eye and even mock, these marginalized persecuted Christians in equally oppressive states....

Tibet is a piece of land not a religion.

1.The jewish faith is the foundation of christianity.Jesus/Yeshua was born
of a jewish woman!
2.The jews,in Christ's time, were not allowed to execute ANYBODY.They
had to have the romans do their dirty work for them.
3.Jesus/Yeshua,gave His life,it was not taken from Him!He was God
in flesh,He could have come down from that cross anytime He wanted.
He paid our sin debt to God,because we can't redeem ourselves.
4.A christian is duty bound to spread the gospel and to pray for others.
5.We are to put God first, others second and ourselves last.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

This is definetly a sign of the times.

Al least we know that if we die with Him,we shall live with Him also!

Thanks for putting together a great collection on this subject!

Sadly, people are geared to believe that the same "god" our government serves is the same Lord,Jesus Christ, that true Christians worship! It isn't! But most people don't know the difference, and it just serves Satan's agenda to fuel the hate and misunderstanding

The place we go in death is determined by our belief systems during life. We make our own heaven. When you are trapped in happy happy land with the big JC I will traveling through time and space as pure energy, exploring our history, future and punching through the veils of inter-dimensional walls, exploring other worlds, alien races, supreme beings and being at one with the universe. I will simultaneously be able to witness the birth and death of the universe in both an instantaneous snap and the ever ringing eternal Aum.

Ill pop in and see you and JC in happy land... if i have inclination that is. But don't get upset when you cant leave with me.

Don't make protective walls for yourself. Protection is only a racket.

Shanti Shanti

Then you should have no problems with Muslims proselytizing. They are also duty bound according to god. They apparently are also duty bound by god to kill infidels. They will pray for you when youre dead though.
