According to Flight, the House passed a funding bill that will fund the F136 engine for the F-35, 10 more C-17s (which will end the line in 2012
barring more orders, and give the AF 223), as well as buying more F-18s, E-18s, and another E-2D.
President Obama threatened to veto any bill that would fund the F136 by affecting production of the aircraft. As expected the House agreed and kept
the F-22 production dead.
The bill will buy more F/A-18E/Fs than the Navy requested, and funds 22 E/A-18Gs.
A third E-2D was added, as well as funding for the Global Hawk.
