If this is the case, then common sense would have told him that he needed to tackle Medicare and Medicaid before trying to fix the whole system.

There is not one line in the bill GUARANTEEING ANYTHING EXCEPT THE PART THAT WE WILL PAY MORE TAXES.

Everything is based on assumptions. Prices will go up when everything has to be covered and will continue to go up as long as we as Americans continue to choose to live unhealthy lifestyles.

He forgot to mention that this perverted version of socialized healthcare DOES NOT ADDRESS THE COST OF HEALTHCARE!

It is nothing more than a few tweaks that in the end, simply forces EVERYONE to buy coverage.

Unless the conglomerate of the healthcare/insurance/big pharma entities is dismantled, they are the ones who will ultimately benefit. The federal government is simply useing this as a way to forcibly insert themselves into the money well that is tapping the backs of the taxpayer.

WAKE UP!

This CANNOT be the change that Obama voters had in mind. All of the free socialized welfare benefits that possibly WERE in the minds of poor voters will be drastically overtaken by the costs payed to the conglomerate by those same voters. Universal healthcare is a noble concept, but this travesty has nothing to do with nobility, and will do far more harm than good. Especially in a time when NO ONE can afford it.

They did the same thing with the bailouts and stimulus. 'If we don't pass this bailout, the banks/our economy will collapse!' Then it was 'If we don't pass this stimulus, the nation will be in danger!' Now it's 'If we don't pass this health care bill, our federal government will go bust!'

Unfortunately, some will still fall for it.

What bothers me about this is that in the past few months Obama accused the opponents of the bill of scaring people and then he turns around and does the exact same thing to try to get it passed.

The sad thing is that a lot of Americans will watch this and believe it without question.
