Great post. New astronomical discoveries are always exciting, regardless of the circumstances.
S&F for that alone.
But, to say life can't exist there is simply naive. Saying the life WE know of cannot exist there is one thing. Saying life cannot exist there is
another. We aren't even remotely close to understanding nature on our own planet, so claiming we understand life as a whole is simply arrogant. I'd
continue, but since these posters are (once again) having trouble understanding logic, I wouldn't want to confuse them. Let's take things one step
at a time. It may be habitable, or it may not. The fact remains that NONE of you know the truth behind that observation, because it isn't possible to
know from our current perspective.
