First time poster here. Had to chime in on the "God Particle" thread.

As for the "scale" of things......it means nothing when the universe is a hologram! EVERY PIECE contains the whole. (like DNA in every cell) The universe is God's body and we are all thoughts of God. Exploring consciousness is the ONLY true path to "space travel"........Your mind is not limited by something so trivial as the speed of light.

Whilst it's not 'scientific' - it is thought provoking and that in itself allows anyone to embark and think about it (and does not need a degree in astro-physics).

Anything to make one think 'outside the box' is great. Sometime the greatest discoveries occur when we simplify things and forget about what 'we know'.....

Okay, apparently, after talking to my boyfriend, I might be about the only one this thought has not occurred to yet (but then, I didn't even know the term "god particle" until a couple years ago)

Questions are:

Does the "observer" have to be human?

If not, does it have to be conscious?

If not, does it have to be living?

If not, can any piece of matter be considered an "observer"?

If the answer to the last question is yes, then wouldn't that mean it's impossible for nothing to have ever existed? For there to be something, something would have had to exist to observe it in the first place.

Nassim Haramein showed a graph on which he had plotted the sizes of various types of objects in our universe (that we know of). Proton, atom, cell, body, earth, star, etc, etc. (many more I can't think of).

The amazing thing was that we humans were the median between the small and the large scale objects. Or, as he put it, the barrier between the infinitely small and the infinitely large. Blew my mind.

I want to show everyone what i know, i dont see why its so special to just me i mean im the same as everyone, just some get it some dont kinda thing.

Now dealing with your questions. Ill go into more detail that i think will possibly blow your mind "it did mine" and i do mean that LOL..

ok life as a thing is what? what is life? "to asnswer your fist question"

we there are two ways to look at life, one is from the observer of being a human being the other is retro as in "being a living being" aka nature ect..

So what we do is we take out the aspect of beiing made by god for a start just because thats a moot point when doing calcualtions on what is life

Then we say OK, so life is a THING we can give it a paramater so to speak so it includes ALL life right?

Now if LIFE is a thing then what is its need? why have life? Well we can understand why just by its very nature and what LIFE does once it comes into contact with matter / energy

it repoduces.. everything that has "life" / "force" "god partical" multiplies..

So we got back to so why have life?

Simple the force of life is to recreate the universe via BEINGS

its kinda like a singularity.

supper big < human > supper small

This in refence is very simple as we are BOTH supper small and supper big all at the same time but yet we are witness to SUPPER BIG and SUPPER SMALL

what gives i hear you ask?

outcome sounds some what biblical but we live in something that is living and in its mind on a scale that is mind bending yes but logical in order to get the outcome to be here.

Function is the key here.. what role does life play? it repoduces the very question in order to find answers.

But the question is the important part "who the hell asked it"?

thats were god comes into play..

and i leave that to people who belive in that stuff because god for me is just a function of being just the way i function.

if there is a god hes probblery not even aware that you exsist

So what your saying is because we are small compared to a star, or big compared to the atom and comprised of the same, or because we can observe our environment, we are the reason for mass? look up the boson again.
