I was researching on the perception for my software project and came across this oldie. It brought smile to my face as I was remembering how fascinating it was to me as a kid.

Try this for experiment. Close your right eye and look at the X with your left eye. Now get closer to the monitor until the A or O disappears. That's your blind spot. Get closer and it reappears!

That's where your optic nerve is located.

Do this experiment too. Close your right eye and go in for a closer look at the red dot with your left eye.

The blue line appears unbroken!

This reminds me of what Ramtha asked (J. Z. Knight): do the eyes see or the brain?

This brings the age old question: are what we seeing real or illusion?

Who am I who is seeing all those images? Why are we seeing colors? And so on and on.

Plenty of thinking to do.
